Very small breakfast room with not enough room to sit, so you need to eat quickly to rotate the places. The walls are quite think (heard someone snoring, showering, etc.)

Great location in the middle od Manhattan, two blocks away from subway station. Nice staff, solid wifi connection. Small but clean room with AC and comfortable bed. Very rich breakfast (above our expectations).

The barman was extremely grumpy not only to us but other customers. Maybe John could do some training with him. Normally bar staff are cheerful, thank goodness we did not tip him!

The hotel and the rooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was also good, the table area is a little small so I would suggest going at a less busier time. Overall I think the quality was great for a good price.

BEWARE if you use European multi-currency debit cards. I had to buy 1284 USD to check-in to two rooms for 442 USD (190% more !!!). They do first preauthorization for 442 USD, then they charge 442 + 200 +200 (842 USD) at the reception (so in this moment my card was blocked by 1284 USD) and then they release preauthorization -442 USD to keep 842 USD with 400 USD deposit released 2 working days after.

The room could have been cleaned better. I noticed the bathroom counter top was covered with smudges and could use a good scrub down. But other than that everything seemed pretty clean. The roll-in shower had no barrier between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, except for the shower curtain which just barely touched the floor, so it was hard to keep water from spreading into the bathroom while the shower was on. They did provide one of those bathmat towels like most hotels do, but it wasn't big or thick enough to block all of the spreading water. So I had to do some wiping down of the floor after showering. I imagine this is only an issue in the handicap accessible rooms though. The walls are very thin and I could hear every noise and word in the hallway.

The location is great. I was able to get to the subway stations I needed with ease, and lots of stores where I needed to run errands were nearby. The NY public library branch a few blocks away was perfect for working remotely during the day. The room was more spacious than I had expected based on other reviews, but I'm guessing that's because I stayed in a handicap accessible room. It was pretty quiet as long as there were no people talking in the hallway outside. The room was a pretty peaceful escape from the loud streets just outside. The breakfast was pretty good-- tea and coffee, juices, pastries, cereal and milk, eggs, bacon, and yogurt.

The hotel is in a very good location in Midtown, NYC. It is easy to get everywhere you need to by walking or by using the subway. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there was a good breakfast served downstairs.
