Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandThe only issue was with the room service (cleaning). One day, they forgot to leave clean towels (we only had 1 between the two of us, so we had to request additional ones) and didn't top up the toilet paper. Throughout our stay, they never cleaned the sink even once; we found hairs and stains every day that were never addressed. We stayed for 7 nights, and our sheets were never replaced, which we were unhappy about. Additionally, they usually cleaned very late, around 4-5 pm, so sometimes we would return in the afternoon and the room had still not been serviced. If the room service had been better, I would have given them a 10/10. Furthermore, one of the elevators was broken during our stay, which made it take ages to reach our floor. While it didn't bother us too much, it would have been more inconvenient for guests on higher floors.
Great front staff, good pool, gym and food at red fish redtaurant are great. Able to borrow towels and go pros etc were plus. Comfortable bed. I also enjoyed the activities they offered. I.e.. Sunset yoga

Germanythere was no coffee/tea-maker in the room, I would have expected this regarding the price. The parking situation is a real problem, there is valet parking, but not enough. We arrived with a late flight, so the parking was not available and it took us 1 hour to find a spot to park the rented car.
location is good if you want to explore the island. View from the room to the Ala Wai was nice. Hotel pool is good

BrazilThe Valet Parking is way too expensive: $45 a night. And while most of the time the attendants were cordial and friendly, sometimes they were a little rude. For $45 a night, there is no space for nothing different than an amazing service.
Location is great and the rooms are comfortable and clean.

United States of AmericaThe parking was costly and took us lot of time every time due to valet only parking. We had to wait for the car to come out. There was a cleaning issue as we found hair from previous customers on bedsheets. The shower was was good but the water drainage system in shower was slow to the extent that it seemed jammed. We missed complimentary coffee with the coffee maker.
Good Location and courteous staff. Attractions close by. Nice clean rooms, fridge and small coffee maker. Daily room service.

United States of AmericaMy room was on the third floor, overlooking the street corner, and it was kind of loud at night. I think this was mostly due to the fact that the lanai sliding doors seemed old and they definitely were not soundproof. And I say this as a person who lives on the third floor of a building on a busy street in Brooklyn and has a balcony over looking the street—this room let in more noise than I get in my apartment. Next time I would book a room on a higher floor or one with a pool view to not be overlooking the street.
I loved the Brutalist design of the hotel and how they leaned into that aesthetic with info on the building's history. I was in a city view corner king, which was super cute, spacious, and got great light. The pool area is amazing—the pool is large and there are plenty of loungers, so it never felt crowded.

CanadaThe room was small even though there were two beds. The shower head isn’t great. The air conditioner did not work properly. I still haven’t been refunded my $200 deposit and it’s been 7 days since I’ve left. They should just hold that money in case there is damage, not cash it in right away.
The location was perfect.

CanadaThe decor is really intriguing in photos. But after checking in, we found our room to be a bit "meh". The AC is quite loud, the room felt damp and smelled overwhelming like bleach and the feather pillows smell odd. The balcony door is very old and thin, too. For the price, it's probably a great deal. But I just can't shake the bleach smell!
Front counter experience with Daniel was great and we enjoyed the complimentary beverage on checkin. The location across from the quiet canal is nice.
