My power went out for the first 2 days about 6+ times. A fuse kept blowing due to too many appliances being on. And by too many, I mean I was not allowed to have the lights on or any other appliance while using the stove or microwave separately. This made it very difficult to even function and cook. I also had to sleep through the night without air conditioning because maintenance was not around past certain hours. It was also to get a hold of the front desk located on the 5th floor. I had shopped for groceries and and most of those went bad because of the power being out. This was a huge inconvenience and I was not able to use my amenities as I had planned. The TV volume was also very inconsistent. Most of the time I could not hear anything while the air was on, even with the volume being all the way turned up. The balcony was extremely small. I am a tiny person and it was hard to even get past the patio furniture. My room was never cleaned or serviced throughout my visit. No one checked nor could I get room service to stop by for extra towels etc. The shower did not drain. Most of the time I was standing in 1.5 inch of water just trying to shower and the water hardly got warm/hot. For all of my trouble, I was not offered any time of reimbursement or accommodations. I was told to not use my appliances together. I am very frustrated and upset with how this was handled.

What I loved about the place is the location and convenience in getting around. Many places were walking distance and I could see the beach and all of the foot traffic from my balcony. The room was a perfect size for traveling alone.

A little noisy at night due to the bar underneath us

Enjoyed our stay here . Staff was really friendly. We arrived in Hawaii early in the morning however check in wasn’t until 3pm but the staff was really nice to call us and let us to let us know the room was ready by 12pm as they knew we had been waiting. Room was fine and had amazing views from balcony. Close to the main Waikiki strip and beach . Walking distance to everything. Good vaule for money .

there is no soap and shampoo holder in the shower area! we had to keep the soap and shampoo in the ground/ ledge. too risky, especially for the elderly. can you imagine. this has to change

I stayed 7 nights. That is too long to no have house keeping. I had to take my towels for exchange every 2 days. Sheets unchanged, floor was pretty filthy after 3-4 days without cleaning. Lots of cockroaches

Staff were all so accomodating. My room was sufficient however others in my group had less than suitable rooms (no cooking facilities, small fridge, oversized furniture)

The room booked through web was really bad and no any facility available as shown in pictures.

The room offered on 2nd day was good. All amenities were available. It is near to the beach and restaurants. The staff was kind and helpful including the front desk.

The 2nd floor Hula bar was a VERY strange bar and atmosphere, and they did NOT assist us as they did other tables or patrons UNLESS we came to bar to ask for a drink or food…. We were ignored at table, no acknowledgement! We were only table that did not get table service as other tables and patrons, for my Mother and I were not the same as other patrons/ the wrong mix ( you figure it out) Teddy’s Burger downstairs HORRIBLE customer service, uneducated staff, overpriced !

Ron our Manager was very sweet and helpful upon checking in. Hotel inside is old and outdated, but we were here 3 days and therefore not too worried, nevertheless things were in walking distance so easily accessible.

Room was a timeshare (we believe) and had weird color choices. The room had silly house rules from the timeshare owners and it made it feel like an airbnb.

Great views, location, and quiet. Staff were helpful and kind. Room had a tiny kitchen and we could see the beach from our door.

I didn't know that it each unit was privately owned. We were fortunate to get a very nice unit. It was very small. Bathroom was adequate. The sink space was too small and the bathtub didn't drain well so you were already standing in a few inches of water. Kitchen space was okay for us as we ate out mostly and didn't prepare our own meals. Very small balcony... only room for a small table and 2 chairs... no lounge chairs. TV didn't have closed captions and I'm hearing impaired. Also one of the tv's remotes needed batteries so you had to get up to adjust the TV.

Location was the best in Waikiki. Clean and moderately comfortable. Excellent view of Diamond Head, park and the beach. Bed linens very nice and although it was queen sized, it felt larger to me. Lots of mirrors and outlets for charging electronics. Large chest of drawers for clothes and small closet to hang things. Elevators were always fast and available. We were on the 5th floor, ocean view suite.

Our room was on the 6th floor facing the Diamondhead mountain and the main street. The view was great, but you could hear every single car or people talking at the sidewalk. It doesn't have an exhaust fan for the bathroom, and the curtains are missing.

Facility did not provide cleaning of room during our 8 night stay. Had to bring our towels and sheets to front desk and swap them for clean ones, changed and made our own bed. Some issues with WiFi/Internet connection, resolved by tapping into neighboring room WiFi (security?) We were on 3rd floor, but were awakened by early morning trash pick-up each day with windows closed. Room had nice kitchenette, with dishes, pots & pans, cooking and tableware, but only given one small dish towel and no dish drainer - inconvenient to clean up.

Location was ideal for attending dance festival we had registered for. Very convenient for taking city busses to a variety of activities and tours we had on our itinerary during our stay. Close to beach, shopping, restaurants, the zoo.

We had 2 separate units. While they were the same price, they were quite differ by accommodations. one was clean and fresh. the other was not. at all. No need to go into tons of details but know as this property is individually owned properties which means some have hotel house keeping, some hire a cleaner on their own. it’s hard to know if the cleanliness issues is with the hotel staff or an outside cleaner. Just be aware. The 2 units we had were on different sides of the hotel, completely different layouts and sizes and even kitchen and bathroom amenities. As well as what the extra bed was significantly different in function and comfort. Again owners differ but it made for some tough parts of the stay with our family members with differing levels of comfort.

The staff was wonderful. Helpful and fixed things we asked for correction on. We had parking hiccups but the staff was always helpful and fixed the concern right away. The location was great and my room had a wonderful view of Diamondhead and a peak of the beach. Hard to get both! Sheets, towels, beach chairs available as needed was great. Staff even helped us with a blow up matteress when needed.

there is a nightclub below the hotel which can get quite loud a number of nights throughout the week.
