The pool was green. It needs to be closed or cleaned. The staff was rude at check-in and at breakfast.

We booked for 4 adults double queen online. No issues checking in with lady upon arrival. Overnight guy Bob harassed my sister as she went down to ask for 2 more towels as there were only 2 in the room. Bob tried to charge her $40 extra then asked how many were in room harassing saying 4 adults weren't allowed to share room. We were all family. We had already checked in and paid $234.60 for 1 night. Ridiculous pricing for a room that looked like a studio 6 yet online photos showed a completely different nice room. It was nothing like photos online. We were woke up at 6:30am by Bob with him still going on about extra charges. Texas law for calls is 8am. This guy Bob needs job terminated very very rude and harassing customer service. No regular coffee had to ask him to make more for continental breakfast. I asked for managers name he pointed to the wall I will be calling corporate Monday morning. I will never and I mean NEVER stay in another Days Inn again neither will my family and friends as I could've stayed in another hotel near by for same price had there been availability without being harassed and woken up at 6:30am, when he had told my sister we had till checkout at 11am to pay extra or would be charged. We weren't charged the extra but he was still very argumentive and called manager . Later after getting home my son called them to ask rate for same room with 4 adults and was given a rate of $109.00/night and $10 extra per adult. When he inquired why extra he was told it was fire marshall code. When has 2 queen bed rooms for 4 adults ever been against Fire Marshall restrictions. Never heard of that and if that is the case why was nothing stated in booking or at check in time or in middle of the night when Bob went off on my sister about owing extra and again nothing stated to me who actually booked the room for parents , sister and I ? Also why was my sister and I told by Bob it was $20 extra per adult ?

Location is where we needed to be close to funeral home location. That's all we liked.

It could have been a little cleaner, it was noisy most of the night, the water tasted like a public swimming pool on a hot August afternoon and even made the coffee undrinkable, the "breakfast" was a joke.

The bed was very comfortable in spite of the holes in the sheets. It did have 4 walls and the roof doesn't leak on sunny days.

I didn’t like the fact that the air barely worked so it was hot all night and I barely couple sleep all night because of the sounds of the freeway all night plus the staff rushed us out the next day and while being asked to hold on the maid walked in .

The exterior hid the results of the interior remodel. he room was fresh and clean. The shower was clean without mildew one might find in an older property. Lobby is open and clean.

1st off I was charged in extra $10 because my emotional support dog for my combat PTSD was not technically a service dog. My room was clean but the AC did not cool sufficiently and the 3 bikers in the room next to me we're up late keeping me up and my coffee maker didn't work.

I liked that the morning staff member provided me with coffee before opening because I wasn't able to get my coffee maker to work.

The cleaning staff did an awesome job, we had a lot of things the straighten everything instead of just changing towels and making beds. The staff was awesome the opened the pool when we asked. They were very patient with the children (we brought 3). The breakfast was good.

I made a reservation for 2 adults and 2 children. While signing in, I put on the information sheet that there were four in our party. When we got to the room we only had two bath towels, two hand towels and one wash cloth. My wife then went to the front desk to ask for two more towels. The clerk asked how many people were on the reservation and then said that they only showed two people, when our copy of the receipt clearly showed 2/2. She did bring us two more bath and hand towels yet, no more wash clothes. This place was an old, renovated building and not very well maintained. The parking was horrible in that all of the spaces were narrow and there weren’t enough of them. The inside of the room door and the outside of the microwave were filthy, and the shower curtain was stained, not to mention chipped and peeling paint. This is one of those hotels (more like a motel/motor lodge) where people actually live. So, some of the “residents” were loud, yelling and revving their vehicles engines at six o’clock in the morning. I would not stay here again.

The construction is awful! The roads are rough and it’s just an eye sore. Other than that everything was fine.

This property was clean, comfortable, and convenient with being on the highway but $114 a night seems a little expensive to me.
