I requested first floor and could not be accommodated. The neighborhood seemed a little dicey, but the entire property was well-lit and there were security cameras.

The room seemed like it was recently remodeled. Hard surface floors, very well lit room, a very comfy (although quite high!) bed, very nice refrigerator. Didn't try the microwave. Furnishings were good. Nightstands were low value and seemed out of place in an otherwise very nice room.

Parking is scarce and tight maneuvers. They had only 2nd floor rooms and no elevator. They alley way between each side of the building have lots of trash. Bikes,scooters, plastic bottles, etc. Did notice an employee cleaning up the areas along the fence. Hopefully, they will clear the alley ways. Water pressure in bathroom sink was almost non-existent shower, but shower wasn't too bad. The drain in bathroom sink was EXTREMELY slow.

The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body soap is a very nice touch, compared to the little bottles most hotels have. Cute, clean and comfortable rooms.

My only hesitation was that there are some repairs still in process on the facility outside of the room. Some of the guests are a little more urban than mainstream hotel guests. The first room I was assigned smelled a little like cigarette smoke, but they were able to reassign me to a different room. The area the hotel is located in is a little more urban, but the value of the hotel was really good for a hotel located in San Diego.

I liked the value of the room and the location was very close to where I needed to travel too. The price was excellent for the San Diego area. The hotel was not too far from the airport as well. Overall, I was please with the value of the space.

Carrying our luggage up the stairway, having people walking right by our window and the smell when you first entered the room was odd. Once in the room it seemed to disappear.

Staff wasn't at the reception until 10am which made checkout or extension complicated. Checkin could be faster.

This place was exactly what I needed to recover after getting sick. It's close to the El Cajon Station and a 7 Eleven is close by too. I was skeptical as the ratings are not that good, but the room was modern, clean and convenient. It had everything I needed for my 2 nights stay.

while the location on a busy street and with not much in the way of dining within walking, the hotel had a lot of charm and the room was very nice, well designed and color coordinated (though 2 chairs would be nice). Good AC, very nice staff. The internet further from the office was non existent, which is a bummer.

Located in busy side of El Cajon gave us access to many modes of transportation from freeway to metro rail to the airport. Also good location for restaurants and shopping

It was very noisy. Had to listen to someone's TV all night. The blanket had cigarette burns in it, even though it's suppose to be smoke free. The room had a peculiar smell that bothered me the whole time.

I liked that they waited on us to check in even though it was late at night.

Nothing. There was nothing that I didn't like

The rooms are extremely comfortable and inviting. It's so nice to have a little fridge and a microwave and a little coffee maker. And the showers are awesome. I really like the minimalist decor and the staff is extremely friendly and cooperative. They just make your stay so easy and enjoyable.
