The location was perfect. Darren and warren at the front desk were amazing hosts. We were during a hurricane and they took care of everything and put our minds at ease. I will absolutely stay here again.

It was a bit dated, but that is to be expected for such an older hotel.

Loved the location. It had charm. I thought the price was very reasonable for the location.

they have parking at an off site but that was fine.If your looking for any luxury this is not the place, but if your looking for unique, well then this is the place.Rooms are small.

I didn’t dislike anything but… Old building (it is N. O.) Window units (worked great) Could use some new paint not that we cared. Coffee available in check in area. Fridge in room, ice machine in courtyard area. But if you are fancy or “bougee” move on.

Excellent value Great location Clean, nice staff Parking

The parking is five blocks away, so walking in the heat was tough. It also seemed like parking might not be available if the small indoor lot is full.

The location is excellent and the rooms are very nice. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful. Thank goodness for the window air conditioning units!

    Patchy wifi.

Beautiful old house in the French quarter. Staff are absolutely lovely. Please note - there is free secure parking, but there are 7 spots for approximately 20ish(?) rooms, and it's first come first served. If you get one, it's yours for your entire stay. Parking garage is approximately 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel location. We got a spot and it suited us perfectly.

We paid extra for a front balcony room. Unfortunately there was some kind of problem and we were given another room, which did have a balcony but it faced the back yard. I really enjoy sitting on balcony’s people watching and I was disappointed I didn’t get to do this.

The location was great, walking distance from everything and it was quiet at night.

I had asked before hand for a parking spot and was assured that there are enough parking spots. When i arrived i was informed that the parking lot is full. In the 2nd day the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. We were told at 6 pm that there is no room that we could receive and if it doesn’t start working we need to search for another hotel. Luckily it started working again.

Clean, very good location - close to Bourbon street but in a quieter area

Vending machines should be better positioned inside the hotel and not outside in the court, elevator and stairs need a/c

Great position in the French quarter, free parking, hair dryer, room cleaning, staff very kind and helpful, good price for this period in summer on weekend, free coffee, quiet hotel in a safe area, fascinating old style room

The lack of parking, but I realize that’s not the fault of the hotel. Plus it was miserably hot in the hallways as all doors were open for air circulation to the courtyard and beyond….again, no fault of the hotel. That’s what I get for visiting New Orleans during the summer, ha.

Awesome location right in the French Quarter and close to Jackson Square. The room was very comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the balcony off the room. Great for us smokers and a Birds Eye view of the street below. Very historic building and neighborhood and very gay friendly.

Parking. They have limited parking spot which they claimed to provide free parking. If the spot is gone, you will end up need to find parking on the street which has some free spots from 5pm to 7am. This one is annoying. We also have encounter the toilet does not flush strong enough for toilet papers. So be careful, flush often and pressed down toilet handle till it flushed

Location, location and location. It is located only 6m walking distance from Jackson square and all other good restaurants in french quarter. The room feels old but unique.

Nothing. But it would be nice to add a mat in the bath as it could be very slippery.

The location of the hotel is very nice, close to the French Quarter but not noisy at all, it feels safe also to walk around even at night. The staff in the reception were very helpful and gave us useful suggestions for restaurants etc. I like the style of the hotel, comfy tidy and spacious.

The beds - not going to lie they were horrid - after 3 nights I need to go back to the physio. Even my 8 year old slept on the day bed in preference to the bed as it was more comfortable. Up grade the beds and you’d have 10 out of 10

Great property close enough to walk to everything but also far enough way. Hotel has charm and character. Lovely staff. It has old world charm.
