Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaHaving to ask for cutlery and crockery when you having a kitchenette.
The location is fantastic of this hotel and probably our favorite part of our stay. So easy to get around the Strip via AC corridors. Bed was comfortable and rooms are clean and spacious.

United KingdomWe were slightly naïve in thinking that the small packet of biscuits and bottles of water in the room were complimentary (the outside temperature was well into the 90s and far too hot to spend much time in the sun) and our final bill was a few hundred dollars more than we expected. A single litre bottle of water in the room wasn't complimentary after all and we were charged $25 (£20) for each one which is extortionate. Should probably have challenged it when I settled the final bill.
The first room we were given had already been allocated to other guests who were already unpacked !! The Front Desk couldn't have been more apologetic and we were upgraded to a room on the 53rd floor .... what a view. The hotel was very comfortable and a nice place to stay. We went off to other hotels for meals and gambling as it didn't have its own Casino. Not a problem as all those close by did.

United StatesRegistration system down and they were asking guests to give them credit card number to manually write down on sheets of paper so when system came back up they could prioritize and guarantee the rooms. From a security perspective, this is not okay. I prepaid my room and was told I wouldn't be guaranteed priority to receive a room if I didn't allow them to write down my my credit card number. I declined and told them I wasn't comfortable with them writing down my credit card information on a sheet of paper and adding it to an already large pile of other people's information. I settled on giving them only my name and number and took my chances while waiting. They gave me a $25 voucher for the bar/restaurant while I waited, so that was nice. Bar tender was super friendly. Finally got room and nothing bad there. Really nice accommodations. The other challenge is that I when I checked out, I was advised of the balance remaining of $50 resort fee and tax for which I authorized, but in looking at my credit card charges, they added an extra $100 to it for which I am now working to reverse. Pretty great chance I won't be staying here in the future
Room was nice. Resort clean.

United StatesIt was great until I went to take a shower. It barely flowed. I called to report and was told they were making repairs and it would be back in a half hour. As I had to be at a conference then, that was not workable. I asked if the water was safe to drink thinking it was a main break or something and the woman on the phone said they never recommend drinking the water. Which gets back to the huge pet peeve, you get a tiny complementary water when you check in. If you go to purchase bottled water it is $5 -10 in the lobby. Providing comp water would be an excellent cheap benefit. Be a trend setter! Another alternative would be providing in expensive reusable water bottles and access to filtered water. I know they are following the norm but these things add up and leave a bad impression.
It was quiet, non smoking, no casinos, and quite nice. Limited dining options but a quick walk to Aria for more options.

United KingdomReception staff advising about mini bar and water. We were advised, after receiving a $200 bill for using water that we thought was complimentary, that we could have asked for water from reception. No good saying that at the end of our stay.
Well located within the strip, and lovely that it was quieter than hotels with casinos.

United StatesThe refrigerator and TV in the sitting were not functional when we arrived. The TV issued was resolved the next day. The refrigerator issued took several calls with the hotel finally providing a stand alone compact that was adequate. The parking prices at the hotel are too high. The public parking at the Aries is a distance and also expensive. The public parking recharged for daily each time you exit. There should be a way to pay a daily rate for longer stays with in and out on the same ticket.
The view from our room was wonderful and has presented. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, staff were very professional, and the location was good - minus the parking.

CanadaThe oppressive smell in the lobby. Too much “scent”. I know many hotels have a scent but it was so strong you could smell it 50ft from the doors Also I paid for an upgrade for a “wellness” room which was repeatedly offered to me prior to checking in. When we arrived, they didn’t have one available.

United StatesParking. Only valet at Vdara. Wanted to self-park, and they only allow that next door at the Aria. It's a long trudge, elevators, escalators, through smoky casino, lobby, across the circle just to get to Vdara. From my room I could see the empty parking structure.
Very nice accommodations, the place definitely feels like a "step up." Was on the side facing the parking circle, so view was not great, the other side that looks over the Bellagio fountains would have been better. Our suite was in good shape and had kitchenette and big bath with separate shower and tub.
