We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaWe booked a double room, but got a single. We were put in a room that hadn't been cleaned. The refrigerator wasn't working, and there was molding food in it. There were no towels. The trash was full. There was no TV service. The bed hadn't been changed. There was a funky smell.
The staff was very courteous and helpful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! They helped both myself and each other when slightly confused.

United States of Americawhen we arrived at the address at midnight, we found the sign unlit and it looked like it hadn't been taken care of, the entrance locked, papered doors, unpainted signs, looked like the lobby was disassembled. we drove around the building to find another lobby, but found no other entrance. i pulled up my bookings.com app and found a phone number to call. it was answered by the Super 8 clerk from the next door property. She told me they handle the check-in for Budget Inn. she wouldn't take a card for payment, only cash. our room's door wasn't quite fitted into the jam, the bathroom floor was permanently dirty, the tub had old, discolored adhesive sticking to the bottom and was stained. the furniture in the room was shoved together to make it look like a long unit. if we hadn't gotten there so late, and needed to get up at 5am, i would have tried to get a room at one of the other motels right at that exit. the cost of the room was cheaper than bookings.com price. i would strongly suggest you don't list this place on your site!!!!
we didn't like anything about this "motel" not a thing.

United States of AmericaThere was no place to check in to the Budget motel. Ended up going to the Super 8 next door. They checked us in there, because they told us the room at the Budget would be second floor and there was no TV service in the room. The motel looked like it was under construction. The Super 8 room gave us ground flood and it was easy to access. The carpet was quite dirty. Some repairs were needed to the room.
At the Super8 room that we did rent for the night, the A/C, shower, and the refrigerator worked great. The bed was normal.

First off when I got to check in the receptionist didn't listen to me and thought I was checking in for super 8 and gave me attitude when I tried to tell her I was for budget. She told me to come back in an hour. So I did then she finally hears I'm here for the budget. Then they gave me someone else's room. Did get another room though.

The building was tore down. Construction was going on. Booking.com wasn’t supposed to be advertising for rooms. The whole weekend got canceled and was ruined. Thanks a lot Booking.com you all SUCK!
