Easiest 10-star review I’ve ever given. We loved our stay here. The owners are extremely thoughtful with great attention to detail and genuine effort for a great stay. Great coffee, comfortable bed, clean room, nicer soap than the Hyatt we stayed at, and quiet! The heated pool was clean and very well kept, with a nice fireplace in the corner. This is no doubt a special boutique hotel and is a fantastic choice when coming to Laguna Beach.

The reception lady was so helpful and gave us recommendations of places to go to. Location was great! Accommodation was perfect, travelled with 2 adults and 3 children (one of which is 2) Beds were so comfy and kitchen had everything we needed and more. The outdoor pool was heated which was ideal and at the night a fire was lit outside which was beautiful! We would highly recommended this place and wished we had stayed longer.

The hotel is directly on the main street of Laguna beach so there is a lot of traffic. You have to be very careful in driving in and out as well as walking across the street.

We got a King Bed Room with a kitchenette. It was perfect for our needs. We had a small dog with us and we wanted to have a few of our meals in our room. It worked well. The Tides In is an older hotel but it has been updated and well-maintained. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Super cute property, included beach chairs, parking, and many small things that made it really convenient. Very cozy and small town feel, even has a handwritten welcome card! Loved the staff and how polite they all were. They upgraded us for free without us asking. Loved the heated salt water pool, it was amazing after the beach.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our wishes. It was my birthday weekend, and finding a handwritten birthday card in the room was delightful. Thank you so much again. The location is superb! The room was clean and a nice sized. We are definitely coming back to stay at The Tides next time in Laguna Beach.
