The property was beautiful with so many extras, and spaces to stretch out. It truly felt like the entire property was yours while you were there. No corner was off limits. Lots of unique spaces to exist which was absolutely lovely.

While the king bed was very comfortable, it was on a wood platform that I kept accidentally hitting with my shin.

The lovely parlor with the fireplace going was so welcoming. The views of the sunrise and the countryside were awesome.

Breakfast box O.K. We would have liked more than 1 apple for 2 people, however orange juice was provided. Nice pastries, cheese and some meat, also excellent coffee.

Excellent location with beautiful, well maintained grounds, beautiful building with pleasing decor. Friendly staff that did everything to make us feel welcome. Clean premises and room, comfortable bed, nice shower.

We had to ask for towels and there was no silverware provided the last day for breakfast. Other than that i was great time.

Breakfasts was served in the room in a great wooden box with fresh pastries from a local store. Room was great size and the view was amazing.

I think I summed it up above. I think the gates should open side-to-side not inward. Maybe an egg dish or some other protein other than a salami stick in The Breakfast box? Highly recommend adding some kind of light fixture or focal point to help Guests driving down that very dark street at night. Some kind of landmark to help you find the Setting Inn.

I love the Inn. I loved the new Nespresso machine in the room Andy temperature-sensitive tea kettle. The grounds and the views were stunning. The Innkeeper was lovely. She was very helpful and informative. I would recommend getting some kind of light feature or marker on the outside of the gates. At night it's very dark there are no street lights and it's super easy to drive right past the end especially if you are new to the area. I was actually grateful that the garbage cans were out on the street, otherwise, I would have missed the turn in. I also recommend that the gates slide open from left to right rather than opening inward. The gate sensors were sensitive. You had to back your car up and move around to make sure the gate didn't hit the vehicle. The breakfast baskets were pretty cool. The pastries were lovely. The goat cheese was delicious. I know my friend would have loved some kind of frittata or egg dish. She doesn't eat meat. I would also recommend turning up the gas flame on that beautiful fireplace. When it was on you could barely tell.

Beautiful setting, our room was #1 with a perfect view of the landscape of farms and vineyards. The boxed breakfast was brought to our room in the AM and enjoyed in the room as well. There is even a peloton in the little gym. We couldn’t have been happier there!

Not a thing!

The property is new and simply beautiful inside and out. The location is convenient for wine tasting and near a variety of restaurants. The grounds have a barn that can be used as a large family room with seating, games, television, wood stove and bath. There is a large outdoor courtyard with multiple seating and fire pit options. Our room had its own private covered patio with seating, was spacious and thoughtfully designed. The morning breakfast box, complete with mimosas, is delivered to your room. Finally the inn keeper is a total delight, so outgoing, positive, helpful and even shared a bottle of local wine! Would we recommend the Setting Inn and stay again - ABSOLUTELY!!!

Nothing! I knew the previous owners and was skeptical at first of the new ownership and renovation but that was quickly dispelled, everything was perfect!

The “setting” could not be better! A beautiful property in a convenient location just outside of town. The rooms are updated and lovely, the view is spectacular and Indy could not have been a more gracious host, she even offered to ship our wine for us. Service above and beyond our expectations!

A bigger sign on the road (I missed the turn a couple of times), and more time to stay at the Setting Inn. We would have loved to stay here more than 1 night, but could not due to the high demand in rooms!

Everything is so well done and thought through at the Setting Inn from its staff, location, rooms, amenities, and BnB experience. Gene and Jared were so wonderful - very welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. We asked them for wine tour and restaurant recommendations, and are so glad we did since they had a lot of local knowledge. Also, pictures do not do this place justice. The view of the valley is incredible. If I ever travel back to the area, I would stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the Willamette Valley!
