The outside of The Marlin looks like a regular Econolodge but the inside was much better.

Close to beach, close to where my daughter lives, close to restaurants. The size of the condo was as expected.

We only got 3 towels for 3 adults and 2 kids, and there was a very VERY small step into the bathroom and we kept stubbing our toes on it.

There was no breakfast but other than that it was a very nice place, they had extra stuff in the room for the kids to play with, and to take to the beach. Also the beach was a 2 minute walk from the room.

Exterior is a little rough, which caused my wife some concern initially. There was also a $170 surcharge which was unexpected and detracted from the value I thought I was getting.

The location is excellent. Room was comfortable.

    No complimentary WiFi, no pool.

I would recommend for long stays, if closeness to the beach and a well equipped kitchen are your priority. You cannot beat the location! Amenities are limited, but they do offer access to laundry. AC worked great and water pressure and hot water were excellent. WiFi is offered but you must pay $30 for access. Basic spectrum channels are offered and you can sign in to your Netflix account if you have it. Linens were placed in the closet, with extra if needed. The furniture and establishment are dated but functional. The kitchen was fully stock with pot, pans and everything one may need during a long stay, specially if you are planning to cook or prepare meals during your stay.

The air conditioning was adequate to cool the room but it never got below 72.

It's Right on the beach as well as pretty much everything you need. We'll appointed room has every thing you need but the food. The building itself is a bit damaged from the storms that hit them last but it doesn't effect your stay. I will definitely stay there again. That being said don't expect a 5 star stay. But it's close enough for me.

It was a bit musty smelling at first. Would like some essentials, like trash bags, to be provided. The bathroom and furniture could use an update.

The location was great. It is on the water, but we were on the first floor, so we didn’t really have the “ocean view” as advertised. The block wall and dunes block the view. The condo was not dirty, but it smelled very musty/mildewy upon arrival. We had to air it out and then it was fine. There was quite a bit of sand caked in the track of the sliding door which was missing screened sections, so it could not be sealed. There were new screens stacked in a corner, apparently awaiting installation. The condo was supplied with a small container of dish soap, and 2 small bar soap, but no extra trash bags, and less than two rolls of toilet paper, so we did a shopping trip on our first full day to stock the place. Heads up to bring in everything you may need for the week. We had planned a grilled meal, but the grills were padlocked due to COVId. We did manage to find someone to unlock the grill. We paid extra for WiFi, but it worked only sporadically. We left the condo far better than we found it. We would stay again, but we do feel we paid a bit more than we should have for this modestly furnished condo.

Although it seemed like the interior had been updated there were still some issues. The blinds over the balcony door kept falling off as they look like they'd been broke for a while. , If you touched the coffee table or had to move it to open the couch bed you had to carefully as we were afraid it was going to fall apart as it was extremely loose. The two beds were somewhat comfy but if you moved any it would squeak and kept us awake. The outside of the building needed updates. I know it's near saltwater but it could have been cleaned up. The person in the apartment at the bottom of the steps had clutter as soon as you stepped off the stairs coming from the top level. Not to mention the balcony area right at parking (lots of clutter, dead plants, things broke, and trash). Stairs were so steep I fell the first day and scrapped up several things. Was afraid I might need a tetanus shot due to the rust, etc. I paid extra for wi-fi and it didn't work but 2 1/2 of the 5 days I was there. Could have been from the rain but didn't tell the front as my husband said it would be ok. Not with two teens that stare at their phone all the time.

The room was nice but I didn't know the two beds would be in the same room. I advised it was two adults and two teenagers. Kids ended up sleeping on the couches as you couldn't fit two adult size people in the full size bed with comfort. Other units might be better but I should have asked more questions when reserving the room.

Door to balcony was broken and would not lock, and the beds were very stiff and a bit weathered. Condo lacked any essential cleaning supplies, i.e., windex for glass tables, lysol, etc., making it a little difficult to spot clean without purchasing these on our own.

Condo had beautiful views of Cocoa Beach. Price was perfect for a true gem. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the condo and the promptness of Cindy's communication with us regarding our stay. We were able to check in slightly earlier than expected, and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.

Property is unkempt. We were disappointed until we entered our room. HOA managers apartment was the worst!

We stayed in unit 322 and it was beautifully furnished and decorated. They had chairs, wagon, cooler and umbrella for the beach for your use. The beach is beautiful as well. We really enjoyed our stay!

Facilities at the site were aged and run down. Just so happens the Marlin does not have private beach access and shares a busy public access. It is also not the safest area in cocoa, as I had my rental bike stolen off the Marlin property, even though it was locked. Lastly, the adjacent hotel on the south side was undergoing major construction and the noise was considerably disturbing, this was not disclosed prior to booking.

I enjoyed the updated condo #323, nice appliances and very clean.

No beach view from the patio, the laundry facility needed a good cleaning it was discouraging, the linen smelled as tho it had never been washed, the blinds were falling. The couch and chairs are very outdated and smell old. Roach in the bathroom.

On the beach but could barely see the ocean from our condo. Could not see the ocean from the patio due to a wall plus vines etc. The lay out of the condo was cute. The lady who took care of things was nice.
