Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

PhilippinesI was very impressed with the room size. We were four persons in the family and the two Queen beds were perfect for our comfort considering we stayed for 8 nights. The two armchairs and desk with chair were awesome. The coffee (which was good) and tea in the morning at the Lobby was very convenient. The people at the Front Door are very helpful and friendly. When you call for anything, you receive your request right away! Furthermore, the room had windows on two sides. The one beside my bed I could look out to and watch the sky and the people on the street.

SpainI would have liked to have coffee/tea makings in the room. I don't love getting dressed and going to the lobby first thing in the morning for coffee. At least there is a fridge and I could buy milk/tea for me own purposes. But for the price of the hotel, this seems basic.
I checked in after a long trip on the west coast, asked for a high quiet room, and when what I found was still too noisy (next to the elevator), the staff quickly relocated me to another floor. The bed was super comfortable for my bad back, and the gym was perfect for my needs, with a couple of Peloton bikes and weights, all to myself.

The hotel is well located near the old center and public transportation. The hotel is historic, well maintained and has comfortable beds and large rooms. The gym is small but has a good rage of equipment.

Location wise the Hotel could not be any better - its right in the heart of downtown so you are literally a walk from anything. The staff are first class and super helpful - and Irish Bar Solas is fantastic and the measures are of a very generous nature :)

Since it was our first stay with them, we were upgraded to a fireplace suite (the only hotel rooms in Boston with wood burning fireplaces)! Great bars & restaurants on site. Friendly & helpful staff. Back Bay section of Boston is a great location for exploring the city & close to the T (subway).

United StatesThe hotel has been around for 120 years and the bathroom might not have been updated since the ‘90’s.
The staff is phenomenal. Absolutely everyone I met was super friendly and knew their stuff. Really good service. The location was terrific. the rooms were a good size with very comfortable mattresses. Though we didn’t end up using it our room had a working fireplace!
