The room had a very musty smell to it but being able to open the door to the balcony was nice and helped a bit. Could offer more variety for breakfast. Terrible coffee.

Our room was clean but was dusty in some less obvious areas. The air conditioner unit also seemed to be in need of a filter cleaning. I have a strong sensitivity to dust particles in the air so it caused me to coach and sneeze. It wasn’t horrible, just noticeable. The breakfast spread is set out in a very small area which makes it hard for more than one person to get their items at the same time. The mattress was very firm.

It is located close to everything in Lancaster. We requested a quiet room and the room we had was very quiet. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The bathroom is updated with a nice sized walk in shower. The shampoo, conditioner and shower gels were a good quality. The WiFi connection was strong enough for me to work remotely without issues. Good quality pillows. The entire place felt quant and homey.

Rooms were comfortable. No coffee maker. The only way to get coffee is to go to the main lodge. I found it strange that there was no fridge or microwave in the standard rooms. They accommodated me with a refrigerator as I had a 4 year old. I really appreciated that. The continental breakfast consisted of boiled eggs and plain bagels. Thank goodness Wawa was just across the street. No maid service unless you stay longer than 3 days so I took care of trash and fresh towels during my stay. I would stay again but no longer than 1 night. For any longer, I would pay extra and stay somewhere else. Be prepared to drop $100 for your check-in deposit that will be refunded after your stay.

The location was perfect for dining out, shopping or just a quick drive to Dutch Wonderland. My family enjoyed the swimming pool although the pool itself is not heated as advertised it was enclosed in a sun room which kept the area comfortable. The hot tub was hot but there were no buttons to turn on jets.

Loved the older decor of the hotel. Pool and hot tub were nice. Friendly staff and visitors all seemed to be happy. Even had a gentleman playing the harp in the lounge area - didn't ask if he was a worker or visitor but it was quite pleasant. Location was great.

Beds could be a little firmer and better lighting in the rooms. Wall are thin for outside noise.

I don't like the rugs in the rooms. The rugs smell and I wish they would get rid of the rugs especially since they have an odor. I think if they get rid of the rugs the rooms would be perfect.

I like Country in because it is family oriented. Very cozy. I love the idea of the popcorn in the lobby when you first walk in it smells so good and inviting. Staff are very polite and helpful.

We have been staying here for years , great place ! But getting older we have needs ,insulin needs to be kept cool , would like to warm some left overs . No micro wave or refrigerator is kind of common place these days in motels Still no cleaning the rooms everyday , covid is over , higher up . Running around for towels , emptying trash can several times gets old !That becomes a nuisance when you get older ! Mattress is in need of replacing ! Room poorly lite can’t, read in the evening , if you are younger with children it an excellent place to stay ! We have one more stay scheduled , after that will be looking for more to meet our needs !
