Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The hotel is incredibly well run. The staff very professional and courteous. The rooms are spacious, and comfortable. The Spa is not bad at all either with its own pool. We loved it.

Location was great! The hotel had old world charm with new amenities. Loved the room and the breakfast cafe-great coffee and crepes as well as breakfast sandwiches. The property was beautiful at night and has a stately charm without the stuffiness. Just a sweet spot in Winter Park.

AustraliaThe only thing that concerned us was the loud closing of self-closing room doors at early and late hours. I urge the facilities manager to investigate 'softening' the door closers or provided better cushion seals on the room doors as it reminded me of a cheap hostel when being woken up at 6am or 2am by a loud self-closing door. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

We had a fantastic time. We celebrated New Years Eve there... great time, food exceptional. Music made my dance, and he hates to dance.. Alfond is worth visiting while in the area! Walk around Winter Park to visit the shops.. I live in Orlando and would still stay overnight.....

United KingdomThe service wasn't great. some of the staff in the bar and restaurant seemed quite intolerant and showed little patience. They didn't seem to want to be there. Despite having booked 4 rooms for 7 people we couldn't get into breakfast unless we pre-booked! It was Xmas. But how ridiculous is that, hotels should always have room for staying guests over outside visitors? They said they were full. They weren't, you could see empty tables on each of the three mornings.... They were under-staffed! So we were pushed to the hotel bar, where the bar staff did not want o be servicing breakfast! Lots of muttering under their breath (rude!). The feeling was abrupt staff who didn't have time, both in the bar and in the restaurant. We decide not to eat breakfast on the third morning because of the poor attitude. I believe there is a general training need for better customer service.
I thought this was a lovely hotel with an extremely high level of décor. Situated a short walk from Park Avenue with some great shops and restaurants. I loved the modern bedrooms, public spaces and really appreciated the cool wall art. The swimming pool was a good size too. Unfortunately some of the staff in the bar and restaurant were unfriendly and at times rude. It was Christmas so maybe they just didn't want to be there! The hotel is a 9, the staff a 6 or 7.
