We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe whole place smacked of poor maintenance and needing upgrading. It looked like everything was done by cutting corners to maximise profit for the owners and not for the comfort of the customers/guests
The hotel was in a fairly quiet location but that's about the only positive thing I can say. I closed the curtains in the room and had to laugh as they were so moth eaten and threadbare they let in as much light as when they were open, you could clearly see the holes in them. The furniture in the room looked like it had been made out of scrap bits of MDF from a dumpster. This hotel is probably the worst Super 8 I have ever stayed in. In fact it was THE worse hotel we stayed at for our entire 21 day road trip in the US.

CanadaAh, where do I begin? First of all, the service was very unfriendly, to the point or being rude (I guess, it is hard to find good help these days). The room was tiny (You get what you pay for). Next day, the room was not made up, (The desk manager told us, that you have to give notice upon arrival, is this a NEW policy? The toilet seat was VERY loose, and I took a terrible tumble in the "slippery" bathtub and the shower curtain did not stay closed during shower. We ended up not showering the next day, being thankful that no bones were broken.
Chairs were left up to customers to put down. Toast was o.k. Front desk was deserted, as it was almost all the time.

United States of Americasmoking area was right next to front door. very smelly! The person at registration desk charged me twice for my room and then had to cancel one charge. Took her 15 minutes to check us in. The carpet in the room was dirty and sticky. A/C unit did not work. There were no handles on the closet doors. Breakfast area had very limited breakfast items and no cups for coffee.

United States of AmericaStaff took awhile to come out to the counter, got there around 1230am. It said breakfast included, but there was only cereal for breakfast. All the chairs were still up when I went down around 745am. Breakfast is 6-9.. payed 90 dollars for 7 hours of being there with no breakfast included.

United States of AmericaThe room was absolutely disgusting, beds were covered in food blankets had holes, I found an empty bottle of alcohol under the sink, mattress had huge yellow pee stains, staff was not friendly and when we entered the room the painting wasn't even attached to the wall it fell and left huge holes in the walls and ac didn't work room was very hot. Bed frame also had metal pieces sticking out almost cut myself and floor was covered in food and mysterious stains curtains held on by zip ties

United States of Americaagain same experience with folks from India background with typical understanding. They just don't like people that don't look like them. The husband as the manager want to change our two queen bed to 1 Queen bed and a sofa chair for nothing. That's false advertising because at website on booking they presents a 2 Queens bed and now at the hotel this decided change my accommodation without reason. Until his wife steps in by telling him to not do that to because we 2 kids 8 and 4 year old and the man decided to say I will give you2 queens bed. He was rude not friendly to us. Secondly, we in room 121 which was in the terrible shape. Again room 121 please send in someone tomorrow Tuesday to visit this room you guys would be surprised to see what I was talking about. Broke bathtub with big hole in the middle of the tub. Please send in someone to Check what I talking about.

Canadathe room we were in had issues, bathroom particularly. the toilet and shower were broken and the tub enclosure had been duct taped but still had gaps and mold is growing. There were no coffee grounds in the coffee machine so the coffee was not coffee. the staff seemed to not understand our issues.
