Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I loved the location as it was about half a mile away from where I used to live in LA. It was great to be back in the old neighborhood. They allow late check-ins (I did not check in until after 10 PM) so it was much appreciated.

Good location and the bed was really comfortable. We ended up with a suite which had a separate eating area and was on the second floor. Definitely recommend choosing that option as it was brighter and had higher ceilings. We were there during the LA floods so it was nice to have a bigger indoor space!

United StatesDrinking water we need to purchase, it's a motel so no restaurant facility. but you can get good restaurants near by.
Rooms are of good size with microwave and digital locker etc. location is good, bus stop near by. Staff is supportive. You can stay long . They provide basic breakfast cereals, coffee, juice and hot chocolate, but no bread and butter or potatoes etc.

GreeceDon't count on the breakfast offered at hotel premises. There are a couple of nice cafés 5-minute walk from there to have breakfast.
Culver City is a strategic area to stay in la, is close to the beach and to the centre, without having to pay for parking. Free parking at the hotel was appreciated, the rooms were spacious, and it offered daily cleaning services. There were available personnel whenever needed assistance.

BrazilDuring our stay, a man appeared in front of our door, mumbling nonsense, apparently an addict that entered the premises. After some time, he went away. Not really hotel's fault, but it was an unpleasant contact with the reality of substance abuse in the US these times...
The size of the room was excepcional. Breakfast very basic, but I didn't except anything different from the price. Very close to Venice Beach and the Airport, so conveniently located.

United KingdomLocation is quite a way from the beach, beyond walking distance really. Is overall a bit basic for the price however it is in a very expensive part of LA. Its certainly not bad and I was fine there for one night.
Room was a decent size with most things you could require. Staff were friendly and helpful and overall was a sensible place to stay for a night in between flights from LAX. Some facilities for a holiday stay, such as a pool.

United StatesWe came to Los Angeles to drop off my daughter at UCLA. The price was understandably higher than usual as it's during move-in week, but the location would not be ideal if you didn't have a car to drive back and forth from campus. The AC, when first turned on, gave off a urine-like scent, which thankfully went away after 1 hour. The breakfast was yogurt, concentrated orange juice, packaged muffins, and weak coffee.
The room was relatively clean and big compared to most rooms in the area. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and we slept well.
