    Overall slightly disappointing. We would not have visited if we was told about the construction work in the hotel.

    The reception was being refurbed which we was not told about. This made checking in slightly difficult. The room had some items loose or “scuffed” although very minor we didn’t expect these from such a prestigious hotel.

    I didn’t like that I was told my room was an upgrade but we had to get a separate bed that wasn’t delivered on time. I had to walk to the front desk to ask for it to be delivered to my room. Considering the amount of money spent on the room, I would have expected this to be take care of prior. I’m was on a time crunch and we were exhausted so we had to take the time out of our day to get the bed delivered.

    I enjoyed the butler service it was great. The staff very nice and the feeling of warmth.

    They need more electrical outlets!! it is an old hotel built before the advent of mobile devices and all sorts of electrical needs.

    The room was spacious and very much like home. An old world charm and antiques everywhere.

    Due to the high demand at the hotel for an international event, the rates were way too expensive, especially for a late check-out policy. We were charged a full night rate for a 1-2hour extension after 1pm. Which definitely sucked.

    Everything was really smooth. The room had a personal butler service, the staff was friendly and responsive to requests. The hotel is situated in a good location and is accessible. It was indeed a luxury service overall.

    I gave a 9 not a 10 because the heating unit was so loud and constantly running it was very hard to sleep

    we stayed at hotel over 15years go and the food in the dining room was wonderful. rather pedestrian now.

    We knew about the renovation but there were zero options inside the hotel. No lobby, no bar, no restaurant, nowhere to have a coffee, no lounge.. nothing. Booking.com is selling rooms with executive lounge access... but there is no lounge. This is the only hotel in New York where you can't even have a coffee. If you want to visit this hotel; wait for one year at least.

    I never seen a hotel in my entire life that never serve a hot breakfast. Ordered eggs and they told me only we serve cold breakfast. Breads and jams. Why such luxury name and charging triple the price of other hotels can’t even serve a hot breakfast. There’s no coffee machine not enough water in the room. Some 3 star hotels gives much better services than them.

    Nothing, it’s like a motel. I never seen such bad service and also no one seems caring about the guest.

    Omer ‘The Hotel Concierge Extradonaire’ was so helpful and great with all the guests. In fact, all the staff we had encounters with during our stay were amazing! Will definitely recommend this hotel to others.

    WORST EXPERIENCE IN A 5 star hotel I’ve ever had. The check in time was at 16:00. It was NYE, me and my partner arrived around 15:00 and gave all my information but the room wasn’t ready. They didn’t have a lobby area to wait so We had to sit at their Very small Bar and Order sth. Aka Spent More money if I wanted to not wait standing. After 1 hour and a half of waiting I went to check why my room wasnt ready. The queue in the meantime in the reception had reached at least 25 people. There were only 2 receptionists Because I had already done the check in at 15:00, I didnt want to wait in the back of 25 people to ask why my room wasnt ready and went to the concierge. They informed me without giving me ANY REASON that “My room wasnt ready because it wasnt ready”. I was being charged 1200$ per night for that room. I did make a scene to no avail! At 18:15 they gave us the keys. We go up and the room I waited for over 3 hours just to find that it smelled like VOMIT. DISGUSTING. I almost threw up myself. I call again and they say they WERE AWARE of it and they’ll try and find me another room! After another ANOTHER INEXCUSABLE 30min they gave me another room, which was a “better suite” from the one I had booked… that had an extra bathroom and living room. Which MEANT NOTHING FOR US. A bigger room doesnt make up for me having to spend 200$ to wait for 2.5 hours for my room, then giving me a room that somebody vomitted hoping I wont notice and then making me wait for another 30min to get me a CLEAN room! WHILST I PAY 1200$ a night! I ve never had a worst experience in a ALLEGEDLY 5 star Hotel. Food was awful, not even fast food level. Staff was indifferent, and they were understaffed. If you have ANY RESPECT for your money , your time and your comfort you shoulds find tens of other hotels that r respectful to u and the money u spent! SHAMEFUL ON EVERY LEVEL!

    Hotel facilities ( room and bathroom) were outdated . Bathtub drain was accumulating the water and I couldn’t have shower ( hygiene ) , despite attending to resolve the problem , the staff couldn’t do anything 👎 . The hotel price was exaggerated .

    I came a lot when I was little with my family. We decided to come back with my mom. It is super expensive for te service they offer, the concierge was not efficient. They even forgot to make us a reservation, we went to the restaurant and did not have it book. We were so angry!!!! The day I was heading to the airport I needed a taxi urgently, no one help me. I am not coming back.

    The location is perfect and the room was super nice!

    The hotel is very old, overall doesn't seem like they took god care of it. There was construction, VERY VERY loud, we couldn't rest in the mornings or bare to stay in the room because of how bothering and loud it was. Windows were looking at the literal construction site as well. I went to NY to relax a few days, but got in return drilling in the morning. Bruh. No notice or anything, very disappointing, will definitely not recommend this hotel.
