I noticed that the luggage carts needed to be cleaned and updated on a more regular bases.

Paying for parking. Parking should be included in the stay. I didn't know about paying for parking till I booked the room and received confirmation email. Breakfast was the same everyday. It needs to be changed daily.

Location of the hotel. Staff are very friendly. Room service was great. Pools/hot tubs were maintained in good condition.

I'm not a big breakfast person, but both my children and spouse said the food offered was not good. The hotel and room were as clean as can be expected with a 26-floor hotel during peak season. My room only had 2 washcloths provided for a 4-person family. I called the front desk, and I received extra for the room within 30 minutes of requesting them. There were a few crumbs on the ottoman and under the couch cushions. I also found several stray hairs during the stay, but the floor was clean. I always inspect for bedbugs and clean when I check into hotels, so it was no big deal to me to brush the crumbs away. I found no signs of pests in the room. One of the beds had a lump in the mattress, and both were overall too firm for my personal preference. The pool was crowded but not so much that you couldn't find your own space to enjoy. Our stay was Monday through Thursday. On check out day the elevators were really slow, crowded and hot from new arrivals and others leaving. I can only imagine that would be worse on the weekends.

My family and I always stay at Springhill Suites at another beach during summer vacations, so I am familiar with the brand and chose this location based on that and online reviews. The check-in process was quick and easy. The location is convenient and easy to find. The suite I booked was pretty spacious and allowed for privacy when it was time to put my toddler down for a nap. There were numerous stores, restaurants, and activities within a 2 mile radius. The email I received from Springhill after booking the trip said that housekeeping was reduced to every other day, but I had someone offer to provide services daily. There were plenty of pool towels available. Parking is in a deck across the street about a short city block away, but we had no issue getting there and back safely anytime we left the hotel.

The pool area can use a few more umbrellas and maybe more chairs. People were leaving their personal belongings on them and leaving for hours not allowing others to use the chairs as well.

The breakfast was included and it was very good. They had a nice variety of everything from muffins to bagels, cereal, yogurt waffles etc. We second floor has a nice ocean view patio to enjoy while eating a meal or having a drink from the bar. We got food from the bistro bar one day if you’re feeling lazy to go anywhere and the food was very good. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Our housekeeping lady was very sweet. She made sure we had anything we needed daily.

The bartender MARQUIS had a terrible attitude and repeatedly gave us sketchy service. After reporting him to management, hopefully, this will not happen to other guests. The breakfast was hot and amazing every morning and had a good variety. The check in and check out process was very easy.
