Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

There was no balcony and we could only open the window a little bit The pool is too small but we didn't care as we were going to the beach To have the rooms cleaned, we had to order it the day before for the next day. If we did not mention, there was no service.

CanadaVery, very small food. Expensive food at the hotel and not freshly made. Frozen food warmed. Expensive happy hour drinks. There is no pass code or key card to enter the property, so anyone can walk off the street and walk around the property, use the pool, walk into any of the guest stays. Only pass code used to enter your room. Smoking and vaping not permitted in the property but ppl were seen many times vaping around the pool and lounging areas. Annoying toiletry bottles, hard to pump in the holder. Frosted glass in the bathroom window keeps the room bright at night. Very overpriced stay and no drink or breakfast included.
Great location. Comfy bed and spacious room. Friendly security guard named Ronny. The best restaurant, Limoncello, is situated about a 6mins walk from the hotel. Amazing food and service. Nice that guests can restock from main building if they need more toilet paper, soap, etc. pool towels are offered too with your stay.

United StatesWe didn’t like that there wasn’t anywhere to put your clothes, just a small closet that had some hangers, which also had the coffee pot, the mini fridge and a safe. We also didn’t like that the bathroom didn’t have any counter space so no where to put anything. They could have had some shelving at least above the toilet where there was room for it. Also the shower didn’t have anywhere to put things either. It had 3 holders where they had shampoo conditioner and soap in bottles, but I bring my own stuff, so it would be nice to have somewhere to put it.
The property was very clean, it was a good location, right across the street from the police station, which was good because it was spring break.

United KingdomWas put off in the beginning with the facial recognition/ photo they requested but managed to deal with this by presenting my passport on arrival. A lot was focused around using a smart phone, even to watch TV, if you don't have a smart phone then things are limited. Glad they had kettles in the room but spoiled it by having paper cups.
Great location with nice American diner opposite, plenty of towels so no need for staff entering your room every day. Lovely decorated room and comfy bed.

I got very nervous about staying here after reading other reviews. I thought I had gotten us into an airbnb situation unbeknownst to me. We arrived and all of my fears were assuaged. While there were some things that were a little different (you have to pay if you would like the room cleaned or for late check out), none of that affected our stay. The staff was so kind, we always were able to get fresh towels and supplies, the property was gorgeous, and the location was unbeatable! We were right in Central South Beach, a 5 minute walk to the beach. We got breakfast at the hotel one day and the food was surprisingly good. The elevator was out during our stay, but the old art deco building is only 4 floors and the company offered us a partial refund by way of apology, but honestly the price was great no matter what!
