Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandThe Nespresso-style coffee machine worked well but only single-use paper cups were provided, fresh paper cups were provided daily but a regular coffee mug/cup would of been much nicer to drink from and more environmentally friendly. Not duvet cover was provided. Two sheets, one below and one above the duvet, were provided and changed everyday but these got tangled when sleeping and duvet was often exposed. A regular duvet cover would be more comfortable.
Room was clean, spacious and had comfortable beds. We were on a high floor and room was very bright, but with good blinds for sleeping. Water bottle refill station was available on our floor, which was very helpful.

PolandRooms (at least mine) were super small and lacked soundproof windows so the outside noise (and there is one in this part of the city) was quite noticeable. A double espresso in a hotel cafe for 11 USD was insanely overpriced.
Great location on a Powell Street steps away from the Union Square. Clean rooms, nice decor and friendly staff.

Was situated on the 4th floor looking directly onto to the courtyard roof of the bar / restaurant. The fans on the roof never seemed to stop. you could hear them throughout the night.

United KingdomSaturday night, had to que and wait for a place in the lounge bar for ages as very busy. The staff allowed those with reservations in first, even if from outside the hotel. Nobody at reception told us we had to make a reservation to get into the bar, as we would have made sure we had as our last night of our fantastic holiday, we didnt really want to spend 45 minutes waiting to get into the lounge bar area. Surely quests at the hotel should be given priority, I know not easy as so popular a venue, but think you need to review checking in process and advise quests that reservations are advisable.

After check in, room cards did not work not once but twice. Very frustrating after a long drive and unable te enter room (12thfloor)and several trips back down to lobby. Finally maintenance fixed issue.. Body wash dispenser was empty in shower and no refillable water bottles in room (had to call lobby)
Location was ideal. Hotel staff was very polite and helpful.
