Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomWe were woken on night one by a noisy lorry outside, below our room and noxious toilet fumes as they seemed to be emptying a cess pit/ tank. We complained the next day and were given a food and beverage credit. Otherwise, nothing. Loved this place.
Fab newly refurbed hotel. Rooms were lovely, and the bed was really comfortable. The decor was great. Lovely ambience. The pool was wonderful. Food was well priced and huge quantities. The casino element was huge but interesting even for non gamblers like us. Best hotel of 11 on our trip.

United StatesDistance from parking garage to the rooms. Do not park in the garage if you go to the hotel. Just park in the open parking lot near Bass Pro Shop. It's so much more convenient.
Great pool area, and we loved the Chinese restaurant and the fact that Bass Pro is attached. Would highly recommend this hotel.

United StatesDon't really have anything bad to say. The Mermaid show was overhyped, but the aquarium itself was lovely.
The room and facilities were sparkling clean, new, and quiet in spite of the proximity to I-15. The casino was just the right size and I appreciated that some of the tables had lower minimums than other parts of Las Vegas. The dealers were funny and friendly, making it a pleasure to gamble there. Also really appreciated the walking distance proximity to reasonably priced restaurants and general shopping. We used Uber to get around, and from the Silverton to almost every other location (stretching from North Las Vegas down to Henderson) ran about $15-20 not including tip, with slightly more during the evening. Silverton had free parking, but most of the places we went didn't, so financially worked out for us.
