The pricing was different for the same exact room. My nephews I got a room which was more than mine yet same exact room didn't need a pullout couch. It looked different.

Beds are flat and extremely low. Not your typical hotel bed. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay

It was crowded and very noisy in the hall we were in and didn’t like paying to park for the price paid. I don’t remember paying that much 2 years ago to park

We just had an overnight stay. The price was good and we had a beautiful view of the ocean which I enjoyed!

They had a fire alarm test while I was in the shower, but I didn’t know that and ended up breaking my foot scrambling out of the shower to get dressed. Wish I had known it was a test. I also didn’t like walking through an arcade to get to my hotel room, but to be fair, that’s probably the reason most people stay here! I was just looking for a spot to relax.

The rooms were clean and modern. It had a nice view of the water too! I liked the staff, they were helpful and kind.

missing hair dryer. missing facial tissues. loud music 2 doors down from the hallway. someone was smoking weed that it really smelled bad in the hallway.

The hallway had a bad smell . No hair dryer in the room . Requested one and they never sent one to my room .

House keeping did not come to the room everyday. It had to be requested and even then the cleaning was mediocre

There were a lot of activities on the premises. The suite was huge. Very spacious

I never received towels for my room of 3 guest. Change of the adult swim up bar at water park.

Seems like there's no staff! Room service didn't exist! I had to go to the front dest for things theroom should have provided extras of, like blankets, tissues, and towels. There were only 2 places to get food from, and they were sold out of things every kid wants like pizza.

I didn’t like the fact that you had to pay for daily parking when you’re staying at the hotel I think that the parking should be free for guest that is staying at the Showboat hotel.

The air conditioning in our room stopped working the first night. The furniture is very outdated. There weren’t too many outlets. The ice machine did not work. The linen on the bed was very thin of poor quality.

It's old, faded and feels generally neglected outside of the rooms (which are good). They closed the casino, which I didn't know, and this is a more slots and kids vibe than anything else. Parking costs about $26 a night which is crazy.

Overall the hotel was nice however I will say the rooms are a bit outdated. But they are clean and comfortable.

Great price. Good location to take children due to having several activities they can participate.

Only 2 restaurants in the actual hotel and the are basically pizza and burgers, and the room wasn't that clean. There was reddish hair in the shower. I prepared for that based on the reviews, so I cleaned the room when I arrived.

The price of the tickets were way too much. I spent over $70 for the tickets for one day and then it went down to $49 the next day, but I don’t feel you should have to pay each day. You’re staying there as long as your guest in the hotel, it should be included in the first price of your night of your stay in your room if you are outside guest, then you should have to pay each day you come in but as long as you’re staying there, it should be free for you to enter the waterpark once you pay one time

The location was good. I like the fact that they did build an indoor waterpark for everyone for the adults and the kids, but I feel bad once you buy your ticket and you’re staying there. You should have access to the waterpark every day as long as you’re staying in the hotel if you’re outsiders coming in then of course you should pay each day you come in the hotel is very old. The rugs could use washing and vacuuming daily. It was stains in the rugs, the hallways didn’t smell clean The rug smell like an old mop my mirror in the bathroom was broken. The bed had no mattress cover underneath the sheets. It was just a pure mattress which also had stains on it with the sheet on top of it way more restaurants that need to be open, catering to children and adults, and they need way more staff to help out and answer questions when people have questions
