The attitude of the manager/owner. We were given a smoking room because we hadn’t requesting a non-smoking room. I thought a non-smoking room in the US is the default option. He gave us a hard time about this because we booked through a third party and not directly. I am an international traveler who has NEVER encountered this situation nor the response I was given.

It's a bit of a has-been motel. Things are worn, and the pool is no longer serviceable.

$60 room in winter goes to $160 in summer.

Spacious, clean, well-equipped and well-stocked room. Plenty of parking. Near state park and short drive to Sequim. Staff very helpful.

Security features were broken and not working or in place. Could not get TV to work like it should. Had to get the person at the front desk to come and fix it. The next day it also did not work but I kept playing around with it until it worked. The place was not what we expected for the price we paid. It was run down and needed things to be fixed. Some simple things needed to be fixed and were not fixed. Security was an issue, slide door was not secure. Front door did not have a secondary flip type security that worked.

It was clean but run down to a point where things needed and should of been fixed. What I liked: place was clean and quiet!

It was completely out dated. Nothing has been fixed in this room for years. Only thing new was the chair for the table in the front room. It smelled like animal pee and had stains on the carpet. There was no light in the room only for headboard light. I took lots of pictures of what was wrong with the room. It shouldn’t of been a $154 room, I would say it was a $70 at most like of room. It’s really sad to see something that could be so nice and worth the value only if the owners kept up with the property and actually cared for it. The bed was like a rock I rather of slept on the floor it was so uncomfortable. The blankets were so thin it was like a sheet and didn’t keep us warm at night. We had no toilet paper holder it was broke and they just kept the rolls on the back of the toilet. The air was all the way in the front room so you had no clean air to breathe in a room that smelled like pee. The towels were so thin and stained I wouldn’t use it and thank goodness I brought my own. Oh and the whole in the ceiling was scary. So yeah you can make up your own mind about this establishment, but you can also take a look at the pictures I post to show everything.

Written directions for maximal enjoyment of otherwise good quality flat-screen tv would have been helpful.

My room was spacious and fresh. Sheets and towels were plentiful and mattress was firm. The refrigerator was cold and the room temperature was comfortable. Though on a highway, the room was quiet and there was a sunny balcony off the back. The desk staff was warm and friendly.

The room had bugs, there was blood on my bed, the screen door on my balcony was off the track, there was a hole in the wall where the flip lock used to be, the coffee maker was dirty, the water smelled like sewage, and I was put upstairs when I asked for downstairs bc I am disabled. The bathroom door was filthy and the towels were all stained. And the AC didn't blow very hard or very cold.

Paint falling from ceiling in bathroom, mold, horrible carpet, bad smell, two police actions, one which we called in because of domestic violence in the room above us.

There is a hole in the ceiling above the jetted tub. Tile missing from the floor in the bathroom with others that are loose. I have a disability and the loose tiles almost made me fall and almost cut my foot . The toilet was broken and wouldn't flush properly, we had to leave the back off the toilet to flush it because parts were broken inside. The floors looked like they were not vacuumed at all. There was old toothpaste stuck to the shower wall that hadn't been cleaned. The top blanket to to bed had stains on it and looked like it hadn't been washed in quite some time. The light next to the bed started to spark from it's cord when I turned it on. There was bare wires on the plug to the light. I have a few pictures of what I'm talking about if needed. There is also what looks like dried blood on the ceiling above the bathroom sink. This is our 2nd time here. The first time was ok but this time the room was much worst. I was not happy with our stay at all and will not be recommending this place to others.

The jetted tub was ok.
