Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesRoom was outdated and small, not enough room to store clothes for just two people, most hooks were falling off the walls, door sweeps were long gone, leaving big gaps under the doors. Hotel staff offered us a tape to cover the gaps as a way to prevent insects from entering the room. Not what we expected for the price they charge.
Location is perfect. Wonderful views. Close to shops and restaurants. Very nice lobby and breakfast/bar area. Breakfast was delicious.

United StatesTraveling as two females, we both were feeling slightly unsafe that our room door did not have a deadbolt or an additional lock. Especially since the room door is EASILY accessible from ANY passerby's.
The view is unbeatable. The room is cute, clean, and spacious. We really enjoyed the early morning yoga & mediation that was offered each morning. We also loved the fire pits on the back patios perfect for stargazing.

United StatesNo microwave. My wife and I had dinner Tlaquepaque’s Rincon and could only finish half the meal due to generous portions. We got a to go box and arrived to our room only to discover there was no microwave so we end up discarding the rest of said meal.

United Statesdownside was there was construction going on at the hotel while we were there, but it was not bad
great views from the room patio, and the main lobby patio. The room was nice, somewhat dated, but was OK. Breakfast we did not have at the hotel, but they always had coffee and some type of fruit water in the lobby, for transport we drove ourselves sometimes, and also used the hotel shuttle service which was a nice alternative if you did not want to drive.

United StatesThe bed was nice and soft. However, when two people would lay down, the two sides started to sag. Went to go to the pool in the morning before other people, and it was still locked at almost 8 when the pool opens at 7.
The room was nice, the view was beautiful, and the guy who checked us in was absolutely amazing. So friendly and very nice. Every time he saw us outside, he made a point to ask how we were doing.

United StatesOverpriced for what you get. We pretty much only slept and showered between our numerous hikes and activities so I thought I paid way more than needed for just a place to sleep and shower (something to consider based on your plans in Sedona) Menu items are expensive. Breakfast is not 'included' - additional $18 a person per day - but is buffet and is good. I wish we would have been given a schedule of events taking place during our stay prior to arriving as we found the activities very interesting but we had already planned other activities and excursions during these times before we arrived. I was expecting a more 'lively, open, classic hotel feel' but I felt everything is very spread out and ghost town for Memorial Day Weekend. Privacy is nice and available but also felt secluded at times as thought it would be a more "bar/lounge" atmosphere.
Place is clean and modern. There is nothing wrong with the place and we did not have any bad interactions with staff. STaff fulfilled our requests for more towels, pillows and blanket in a timely manner. Coffee and water available 24/7. Breakfast was good (but it is not included like I thought). Our room was clean and quiet - big bathroom was nice. Plenty of areas to lounge and plenty of privacy - we stayed on ground floor so people did not sit in front of our room for views (there was a view from the ground floor but obviously 2nd and 3rd floor views were better - and you are able to go to second and third floor easily for a view from ground floor). Not sure how I would feel on second or third floor rooms with numerous people always in front of your room. Parking was easy and we were able to park right outside our room on the street.

United StatesThe staff could not have been worse. Each encounter was frustrating. Like they thought I called to find out about the difference in rooms just to bother them. Checking in the terms changed and I asked for details, they said I could only get that at checkout. The morning of checkout I got an email with an accounting, I asked the desk if that means I am checked out, they did not understand this basic question. Instead of a BS resort fee, which you could at least use for meals, they now charge a $25/day parking fee, which is just another nickel and dime scheme by corporate hotels.
Rooms in 300's 310's 200's and 210's have the view in the photos.Rooms 320's 330's have a great, but different view from the photos. Other rooms do not have full, amazing view. Room was large and comfortable. Dog Friendly, with a fee.
