Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThat I couldn't stay longer. When I'm in the city that I was born and raised in, I always want to stay longer and if I could, I would live at the Rodeway Inn.
The staff are, for me, FANTASTIC! I'm always well taken care of when I'm at the Rodeway Inn, 'Nuff Said

United StatesI have always had a clean room here but on this visit, there was visible tree debris on the floor. The room and bathroom were otherwise spotless. What I noticed is that there's no threshold seal under the door. It's frequently breezy or downright windy in SF. When the wind blew, the dirt was blowing in underneath the door. A simple weather-strip on the bottom of the door would prevent this issue and I highly recommend ownership to make this easy fix that will raise cleanliness scores. The stairwell and elevator seem dingy and old, but there was painting going on during my stay so maybe that will appear better on my next visit.
This was my third or fourth stay and I keep returning because if you have a car, I believe the Roadway Inn to be the best value of any hotel in San Francisco! Free on-site parking makes for less hassle and saves you $40-$50/night compared to other hotels. Limited sites are available, so I usually park when I check in, and use rideshare services as needed. I also feel my car is less likely to be burglarized here than on the street, but leave nothing visible in your car - anywhere in SF! I'm here to sleep only and the room is satisfactory. Bathrooms have been tastefully remodeled with tile in some and glass showers in others. Refrigerators and microwaves can help you to save even more than using restaurants. My room had a wood-like flooring that I perceive to be cleaner than carpeting. Everything worked and my Wifi was adequate or good. With the money I saved on the room, I treated myself to a phenomenal breakfast two blocks away at Son & Garden. If you like bacon, be sure to try their candied pork belly!

SpainIf i were to be picky, I'd say the elevator was out of service, the air conditioner spat some dust when we turned it on. But we didn't mind too much.
Not bad, not dirty, a bit shabby, but good price. Could do with changing the towels, all in all, good deal.

United StatesParking lot/garage was a bit tight; however, considering the age of the building and location, I was just happy to be able to get free parking.
The location was the highlight of my stay in this hotel. I was only in SF for an overnight work trip and only needed some place that was close to cheap food--so that I could have something to eat when I arrived & in the morning when I checked out in the morning. It was also imperative that the hotel was close to a major road to get me to the freeway as quickly as possible. This hotel met both of those needs. Also, while it was not the Shangri La, it was a decent place to lay my head for the night. I did not feel unsafe nor did I feel like bed bugs would be carrying me out of the room in the middle of the night. It's a budget friendly hotel close to City Hall and, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

United StatesThe elevator is old and small, so I opted for the stairs to get to the third floor. You'll likely encounter street people in this neighborhood, but none of them spoke to or approached me.
The location was convenient to a concert and after- party (so a late night). I was only intending to sleep and shower here. In SF, this is a good value. Rooms not facing the street are quieter. My bathroom had been nicely remodeled, and overall, the room was clean and comfortable. There's limited but free parking on- site; huge bonus in this city! I walked to a nearby restaurant, Son & Garden, to treat myself to the most incredible breakfast I can recall having. I'll definitely consider staying at this Rodeway Inn Civic Center again!

United Statesthe bed works for a night but the mattress was not so comfortable, if you need to work online the internet barely works. I had a little discussion with the lady at the counter about the parking spots, cos they don't have enought and if you don't find you must park in the street, but she was right that they had that advertised on the post on booking, in the additional rules, I didn't saw that when I book this place. by luck I find a spot this time, but normally I don't book a place where I can't park.
nice room, looks like is freshly renewed, very clean, perfect location, around you can find everything you need.
