Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesHere is the bad. Getting someone to the front desk is near to impossible. It took forever to check in and then the day we left, I forgot my phone in the room and it took over 30 minutes to get help in getting a new key to get the room open. Noone was at the front desk and when we called the number that was posted to call, they told us to quit calling. A maintenance guy offered to help but he couldn't get in there either. There was one cleaning staff that we interacted with. He was rude and completely not helpful on many levels. We asked multiple times for a second blanket, he blatently refused to help and the front desk guy said yes and we never got one. I feel bad leaving this type of review due to the fact that the guy who checked us in and we talked to two other times while there was such a great guy. He is by far the best part of that place. I also have to say the place was very clean, we had zero issues with room cleanliness. This place could be so much better if they had someone staffing the front desk all the time, at least during the day and during prime check in times.
The front desk guy was amazing. He was kind, courteous and just an all around great guy. The place was clean and the bed was not terrible.

United StatesThere were only two straight back chairs, the refrigerator was removed from the room There was no coffee pot, only one washcloth and hand towel.
When we got to the motel I was told our reservation had not been received. After two hours I was told it still had not been received so I paid for a night's stay through the motel for $95. I have a bill from Booki.com for over $111 on my credit card.

Not much, the property is old and run down. The grounds are dirty and weed infested.

United StatesStaff was unhelpful at best, and rude at worst. The guy at the front desk repeatedly belched while talking to me — gross. The room wasn’t ready until 7:30pm even though the staff told me that it would be “ready in half an hour”, and then just “5 more minutes”, over and over. And they never apologized for any inconvenience. The location is sketchy and made me worry my car might get broken into. Room was ok but smelled like lots of cleaner had been used to get smoke out of the linens. Very sad breakfast. White bread, cereal, and terrible coffee. Ice machine didn’t produce any ice.

United Statesbooked on line and attracted to property by price and brand.. was disappointed when arrived. this is a converted Motel 6 located several miles out of Butte. No food service outside of a limited unkept small room for breakfast. off site options were limited to a small casino, McDonalds& Subway. No desk clerk to greet you when checking in and no bell to alert staff that you were there to check in. Someone showed up after several minutes and sent us to a room that had not been made up from the previous tenant. we were then given another room by a barefooted staff member dressed in sweat pants & a sweatshirt.. The corridors leading to the rooms needed vacuuming with more than one pile of room wast to be picked up.
