Room was older it still had paneling on walls staff was not friendly or helpful office smelled no breakfast what they called breakfast was not. They couldn’t open up for breakfast on time which that wasn’t breakfast coffee was alful had to throw away milk was spoiled not pleased will not stay again.

That there was no pool available it was trashed. No breakfast as they only serve it on Friday and Saturday. The room was musty. The toilet sounded like a rocket ship ready for lift off. The sink water pressure was super low. The door has a huge gap in it. The beds were super old and hard. I guess I get what I paid for. Most of all they lied about amenities to get me to book.Left us dirty used cups and ice was dirty as well.

Motel was booked several months in advance for a group of people (booked during the late winter/early spring time when it was still very cold outside). I called facility to make sure that the pool was going to be open during our arrival time and we were assured that it would be. Upon arrival the pool was not open and in fact looked to have been closed for a significant amount of time. However, the owner told us that they had filled the pool up earlier in the season and it had a leak so they had to close it down for repairs. I asked for a refund due to the pool not being open and was refused one since we had booked through a website instead of directly with the facility. I had explained that the only reason we booked there was for the pool and that I had also called months ago to confirm that the pool was going to be open. The owner then called a motel down the road and got permission for our group to swim there instead which was very thoughtful of him, but most definitely inconvenient. Upon reading past reviews, I saw that the pool had actually been closed for years! I had also spoke with a family member who said that they had stayed in the same motel 6 years prior and the pool was broken then as well! This family member told me that the owner had given them the SAME EXACT EXCUSE 6 years prior… On the listing they have a picture of their pool and even lists the pool as an amenity at the facility (when you filter the listings it shows this facility as well). I felt deceived and lied to for sure. I don’t feel as if owner has ANY INTENTION of ever actually fixing their pool. Our room was very hot the day we arrived and barely cooled off throughout our stay. When we questioned the ability of the air conditioner to keep up with the excessive heat outside we were told that it was because we were in an end room and were then offered a fan. The room was hot to the point that we couldn’t sleep with even a sheet on at night.

We did not participate in breakfast at location. Location was close proximity to many attractions. Our bed was comfortable. The patio area was convenient for our small group gathering at the end of a hot day.
