When we were there, there was no WiFi away from the coast/near the road because of the high winds. We called the landlord, but there was no way to get it serviced because it was a weekend, and we spent three days without internet. It was a bit overcrowded with only one bathroom (there were 4 of us) but considering the price I'm not complaining too much!

Great location, quiet on the beach. The room is big enough for multiple people to travel and the living room is good for gatherings.

It could have been a little cleaner. The outside deck from the kitchen and laundry, above the pool area was an eyesore. The coffee pots on the rooms could use some updating. All rooms could use a broom seeing as there is no cleaning during your stay. Our pancakes weren't cooked all the way 2 days. But it was one guy trying to do it all. I would rather wait a little longer though and have cooked food. All in all, it was a great stay and will definitely keep them in mind the next time we are in Marathon.

It was great for the price. Our rooms weren't necessarily close but they were two different types of rooms. And the property is so small that it was still close in proximity. The rooms were clean enough. The pool was clean. It was a nice stay and we would definitely return.

The units show quite a bit of wear, but everything was functional. The lock on our door didn't work the first night, but maintenance fixed it the second day. There was a glob of "weeds" in the shower drain when we checked in.

the VIEW of the ocean from our unit was SPECTACULAR! Cook to order breakfast! Roomy shower - enough for two! Nice to have a small table and two chairs outside our unit.

Man working in Hideaway Cafe was yelling & cursing around 4 pm, guests could hear him at the pool. I booked a room for 2 queen beds for 4 adults , I was put in a 1 queen bedroom with a hideaway bed from a couch, not comfortable for 2 guests. Was told the 2 bed queen bed room wasn’t available

The booking was for four guests with two rooms in our suite but one of the beds was a twin, which was very inconvenient for two adults to try and sleep in, there was also only one small TV in the main space. There were no TVs in the bedrooms. Our breakfast the first day was very good and we had a very small wait time the second day we had been seated for over 35 minutes before we were even offered a beverage.

The resort had a convenient location and an amazing view. They let us use the kayaks at no additional fee.

The closet in my room was broken (i didnt need it but feared I would be charged for it), the tvs were too far from wifi so they didn’t really work. The tv remotes didn’t have batteries. The shampoo was missing but our room had three lotions. The towel service was non existent until we were about to check out. We had a lot of hand towels, only one wash cloth, and a few bath towels. We had to get towels from the pool to shower on day 2. They don’t come service your room each day, so the trash doesnt get taken out and new towels are not brought and the old ones arent taken out. So we ended up with a mountain of towels by checkout. There was a bigger trash can in the parking lot so we took our trash out to it. There weren’t back up trash bags, thank goodness I brought my own. ***They don’t have baby beds/cribs which is ok, we brought our own pack n play. Everything else was fantastic! The beds were clean and comfortable. The room smelled clean when we arrived, the kitchen was clean and the fridge too. The patio was awesome and very private!

The rooms were small and were not covered. Bathroom and one of the bedroom had an opening in the ceiling. So if one goes to the washroom in the night, the light goes to the bedroom as well

Arrived at 3 pm and was told that checking was at 4 pm. And so it was, a not even a minute early. We tried staying at the property because we were tired from all the driving, but the beach access is not ideal for swimming. There are kayaks for use but were faded and the gear looked degraded,just old and/or not well maintained, frankly, nothing in the outdoor looked inviting, not even the pool, the bathrooms outside are desperately in need of an update. They were not clean, there was no toilet paper and paper towels.

Our room had 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths had been upgraded and was clean and nicely decorated. Love the Full kitchen, buy don’t think that you will be cooking as the pots are very cheap and everything will stick to it.

First, and most important...This place charges a significant resort fee that wasn't added to final price on booking. My room was originally $220 ( which I felt was reasonable), but ended up at $291 after resort fee was added on. This isn't exactly a resort. Yes, they have an ocean view, but calling it a resort is a far fetched!!! It's a nice ocean view back yard with a rocky shoreline. There were chairs and umbrellas set up. There are kayaks available to use for 2 hours, but the kayaks are in less than good shape. I feel as though the resort fee added on to the final bill is unwarranted. I would not consider this place a resort. It's an oceanview hotel. Also, the office closes at 8 pm. What resort doesn't have someone on staff 24 hours a day? A quick Google search says this about resorts... (A resort is a commercial establishment that offers many of the things a vacationer wants, including food, drink, lodging, sports, entertainment, and shopping. Resorts are similar to hotels, but offer more accommodations, amenities, and activities. Resorts are often great for families and can attract travelers who want to make new connections. They also offer a wide range of activities, such as sports, non-motorized water sports, and other activities.) There is a small, but very overpriced restaurant, older kayaks and bicycles....however, the only place you can ride the bikes is on the highway outside the resort. The breakfast was just ok. I've had much better breakfast at a regular hotel, that also has a pool, hot tub, restaurant and ocean view....without trying to call itself a resort and hiking the price. Our room (room 3), was very beautifully decorated and pleasing to the eye. However, it was right next door to the restaurant and it was quite noisy until after 10 pm. The sound of clanging dishes was nonstop. The bottles of shampoo and conditioner were empty when I went to take a shower.

Great location and easy to find. The outside was beautiful and tastefully done. The ocean view back yard was quiet and serene, (although the sand was not soft. I needed shoes because the sand was rocky) Nice cozy and beautifully decorated room. The shower was great and the toiletries were good quality which I was very pleased with. Small but Decent complimentary breakfast, very comfortable beach chairs, very nice pool and hot tub. Serene / tranquil environment with an amazing sunrise view.

The accommodations were very clean but could have been better furnished. I like to have night stands and lights on both sides of the bed. But really no complaints

Location and amentities were great as was all the staff. Everything was well maintained. Breakfast was included and in the evening the restaurant provided a fine dining experience with a nice wine selection.
