The parking! Valet parking was over an hour late with my car. Could not reach anyone for the valet . Called hotel number and response was not affiliated with the parking company. They operate out of the hotel reception.

If you end up in the rooms facing east, you will hear the vents of the gigantic air conditioning system of the neighboring building. If you are sensible to noise, you might have some issues sleeping at night. Perhaps the policy of the hotel is not to clean your room during your stay: we stayed there for 3 nights and the room was never cleaned. If this is the policy, it should be made clear to the customers. However, we got towels at request.

Super stylish design all over the hotel, in the lobby and in the rooms. Very spacious room, recently renovated. Perfect location in the city center, close to many restaurants and at walking distance from the train station.

The staffing was an issue for me. The lobby bar said happy hour was 3-6 but whenever we went there was nobody there. The restaurant was closed on Monday which posed a problem as most of the restaurants were closed on Monday. We wound up eating at the rooftop bar.

The decor of the hotel was very nice and the rooftop bar was beautiful with amazing views.

The only complaint I have is that we initially passed by the hotel twice as the sign was not big enough to see well. You need a larger sign out front.

We were placed in a property next to the hotel, not in the hotel which was not communicated to us until we stepped onsite. The property faced Main Street which was very loud at night. The keypad malfunctioned during our stay, but online staff resolved it.

The hotel and rooms are modern and very pretty. The staff was helpful and the online response was quick. The rooftop bar/restaurant had a beautiful view and great food and drink!

The electronic check-in was a bit strange - but the chatting option is good.

great location, beautiful hall, beautiful rooms. Loved the rooftop view and vibes. The art collection on the walls makes you feel like you’re in a hip museum. Airy and spacious rooms. Also super close to the train station, it was easy to walk back there after checkout.

The main thing I didn’t like is I could tell my room wasn’t cleaned that well. We found stuff that the previous guests had left in the room as soon as we walked in. Also. The parking lot is a little far from the hotel. They do have a valet option for a little more.

The hotel was newer so that was a bonus. It’s bright and very welcoming. Also, if you don’t want to go anywhere they have a bar, restaurant and coffee place at the hotel. Plus the staff was amazing. Everyone was friendly and outgoing.

The hotel is going through a change of ownership and management. Online check in link did not work. The staff were very vocal about their uncertainty. The staff tried their best. Rooms only serviced on request. Room was cleaned once over a three night stay. Management needs to change their wording on what is currently being offered on this site. I dislike walking into an uncleaned room after a full day of sight seeing. Dirty cups and full bins 😔

Beautiful modern hotel and great location. Great roof top bar. Spacious rooms and absolutely comfortable beds. Ample lush white and well stocked bars. Art gallery and lovely spaces throughout the hotel.

The hotel has been sold with little management. There is often no staff in the lobby, INCONSISTENT info on parking and I entered my room to find my balcony door not only unlocked but ajar. This created an uneasy feeling. This week there was no steamer/iron in the room. Could only find one gentleman downstairs to locate either. He was extremely diligent apologizing as it was hard to locate and he was the only worker there.

Like the Quirk’s location and current pricing. The rooftop bar is great and the staff is good. Hotel rooms with balconies give you a different view and a place to sit and relax. Rooms are contemporary with nice bedding. Maid was gracious but knocked on door prior to departure time. She apologized profusely.

Online reservation system — confirmed room was not ready for next guest and hotel staff did not know which rooms were ready. Delay in assigning me to another room. Valet team did not monitor online vehicle request system. Self parking was 2 blocks away; Restaurant next door.

The parking lot was a ways away from the hotel and I didn’t know that until we got there. Also, the room smelled perfumey and the smell bothered my allergies and asthma. This hotel prefers people upload their ID through an online means instead of just checking ID at the front desk. They did agree to just check my ID, but I had to press for it and they had to get approval.

Email check in. Valet could NOT be found. If I was alone I would not have stayed as the parking lot is a walk down a dark street with homeless people.

Loved the balcony, furniture and art. Room was spacious but the bathroom floor was dirty and the coffee maker was dusty.

We wanted to sit outside on the rooftop and were told we could not because the seats were reserved, but there were several open spaces and I think if you're staying on property and paying the high prices you should get priority seating. Also, we were told at check in that we did not have to reserve it, as I specifically asked about the rooftop.

Cargo train line, electric transformer next door make it loud; complicated shades on floor-to-ceiling windows often fail to work; café in atmospheric old house had no heat (!); percolating coffee maker system not convincing

Heating system fan was so annoying that I left the room as set at 68.

Breakfast was at the best bakery in Charlottesville, conveniently right across the street. The valet man was very kind and helpful.
