Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThere are no recliners as pictured, which was a big deciding factor for us choosing this place. Other than that, it was perfect.
It was clean and comfortable, also a tip the ceiling fan in the master bedroom helped tremendously with keeping it cool as that was the only room to lack keeping cool just a tiny bit(nothing major and wasn't what I consider hot). We did stay when the Temps were in the high 90's.

Property was out of the way which made for a very quant and quiet property. The condo was perfect for our girls trip! The bedrooms are separated and provides privacy for each bedroom and bathroom.

United StatesBed was uncomfortable. Extra blankets in ottoman had an unpleasant odor, possibly not washed in a long time. No soaps in “Master” bath, had to go hunt for them, and they looked old, were kind of gross, and we didn’t feel comfortable using them. It was a mix and match of brands and scents, that looked like items other guests had left behind in all honesty.

Beds were very comfortable just had 1 individual that cannot lay flat. Pictures we viewed had a recliner in the pictures. This is why we choose this condo only to find out no recliner.

United StatesGate code should be given as “#number” not “ be # then 4506”- when you’re trying to hurry at the gate, this detail is important! I saw at least 4 cars have to go through the ‘out’ gate because they didn’t have the code.
Quiet, peaceful stay in a great location- close to downtown but far enough away to be out of the hustle ans bustle of traffic!

United StatesUpon arriving Sunday, May 26, the icemaker was not working. I called for service but went out to buy my own ice. The next morning (Monday 27) the ice had basically all melted and all the items we put in the frig were not cold since we then realized the frig was not working either. Another call made and I was told they (Josh) would reimburse us for the spoiled food (eggs, milk, salad dressing, salad, cheese, to name the most expensive. I have not received any reimbursement for the loss of our food. And, to make matters worse, once the frig was declared broken (as was stated in the welcome book 10 days before our arrival) the morning we were checking out a smaller frig was moved into the condo for the next guests. That does not seem quite fair! We lost food and there was never a replacement for the frig for us! We could not use the frig even for leftovers. Not sure I will use booking.com for my next reservation. I also had an issue with not being able to watch just local news instead of movies--not helpful.
