For the resort, at this rate, we expect to have some hot tubs around the facility. I also expect a free EV charging station, as most hotels we stay in provide such stations.

I like how the staff went above and beyond to care for us.

The staff at the restaurant were not that great. The wait service on my second visit did not pay attention to my nut allergy and were not very attentive. The food was good though

Bathroom was a little dated but very clean. There was nothing else to not like.

The room was spacious. Mini golf outside room was alot of fun. Enjoyed breakfast and dinners and staff were very friendly and accomodating. The resort is close to Carmel on the sea. The golf course was beautiful and challenging.

Nothing I didn’t like

The grounds were beautiful which made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The rooms were large and spacious with all the amenities. The mattress was heaven which made for a restful sleep. There was a 9 hole putting course that made for a fun afternoon. Check out the Farm stand and garden up the road, too.

We loved the grounds around the hotel. We enjoyed reading by the pond and sitting at the fire tables in the evening. The golf course appeared to be closed while they were setting up for car week so we got to ride around the golf course on E-bikes with nobody around!

Sadly the restaurant facilities weren’t good for us. The restaurant wasn’t open at all on one night which meant we had to use golf club restaurant where we had already had lunch and the menu was limited. The following night the restaurant was open for shorter hours with only one or two hot items to order one of which was a burger which, although lovely, wasn’t what we wanted and we felt rushed to leave by 9pm. Whilst I know Sunday and Monday may be quiet days - travellers still want to relax and enjoy a lovely meal and wine and it was sad we couldn’t do this at the hotel on either of the two nights we stayed with you.

It’s just beautiful. Fantastic setting. Fantastic golf course. Lovely pool and gym facilities. Just perfect. Staff were all outstanding.

Not sure if there is a hot tub. It didn't look like it, and with the weather being cold and overcast I would have loved to spent some time in one.

We stayed in 155, which had no one above us. It was spacious and well appointed. The best part of staying at the lodge is the staff. One morning I asked the bartender why everyone had Huevos Rancheros on their menu but not Chilaquiles? Without mentioning it she had the chef prepare Chilaquiles and brought it to me. Absolutely made my day.

The cleaning staff left a dirty rag in my suitcase while my privacy sign is out on the door. And after I talk to the front desk they didn’t do anything to makeup the mistakes.

At my stay was over so fast LOL I think I could stay there for a month and just be so happy the breakfast was exceptional I had the omelette with English muffins and a little vinaigrette salad that comes along with it it's such a perfect combo I have zero to say negative about this property it's a very magical place

I have been coming to the Quail Lodge for over 45 years and folks that take care of the place you can see how they treated as their own home everyone looks so loyal and committed to what they were doing on property keeping the heartbeat alive I'm so glad I remembered my old buddy quail Lodge

We actually liked everything about it.

As it was a special occasion, 45 yrs of marriage, they gave us a great room and a little champagne to celebrate. Also being not too far into Carmel Valley, the ocean breeze made it very comfortable.

Power went out for 6+ hours and no offer to recompense the discomfort (even though it was not the property's fault). VERY noisy children/family in nearby room.

Not having a real coffee machine or Keurig in the room. Extra blankets. The chairs by the fire pits were very uncomfortable, need a cushion and a hi higher back

The grounds were splendid and the fire pits at night great to hang out and wind down. The work out room and pool area was remote enough to enjoy away from the other guests.

An upgrade was available and we were extremely appreciative. We've stayed at the Lodge many many times and the quality and service are consistently high. Love the warmer weather but close access to the Carmel beach and restaurants. Afternoon wine and evening smores were a nice touch.
