I wouldn’t classify it as a dislike, but the 2 queen room was a bit tight for a family of 4. We will upgrade to efficiency next time.

Hotel felt well-maintained. Front desk staff was wonderful. Restaurant on-site was a plus. We were pleasantly surprised by the size, cleanliness and accommodations of the pool - lots of lounge chairs, complimentary towels, and even life vests for younger children. Great location, close enough to boardwalk but far enough away to feel peaceful. We will be coming back to this hotel for sure!

Not any eating options within a couple blocks, have to walk a bit further, but this could be a pro too.

Pool are was big and can see the beach, rooms were spacious and clean. Staff very friendly. The restaurant cavu has amazing duck fat fries! The shower facilities by the pool and changing area near garage were very useful. I felt safe having our bikes in the covered garage with cameras.

The hotel does have quiet hours which I loved but the walls were so thin we could hear the families beside us each morning and night so it made it hard to sleep.

My new favorite hotel! We loved everything except the thin walls. It was the cleanest hotel we’ve ever been to and the staff (especially Paul and Tori) were amazing. The cookies and fire place were nice. The pool was excellent. It was so close to the ocean and we had a wonderful view of the ocean.

Would like coffee in the room or available 24 seven. It’s a great coffee set up, just not available as late in the morning as I needed. It did not have time to enjoy the restaurant in the morning.

The beds were a bit hard for an older couple, but I wouldn't think most people would have our same problem. The room was a little dated and not exactly like the pictures online.

Clean, location was perfect, we had an ocean view room. Had a nice living area and balcony. The pool looked inviting. Restaurant had great coffee and looked really nice. We enjoyed the firepit area.

With a roof-top carrier on my SUV, I couldn't park in the underground garage due to entrance clearance issues. Plenty of free outdoor parking, though.

Pan Am is my favorite place to stay in Wildwood Crest, when I can get room availability. It is clean, quiet, and has the Alosi restaurant right on site. I've never had a room I didn't like, and this last visit I was lucky enough to get an ocean front room with kitchen and separate sleeping areas. Wife and I had bedroom, son had pullout couch. rooms separated by folding door.

Price was a bit high for a weeknight after Labor Day.

Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Allowed me to check in an hour early. Room was very big with 2 bathrooms & a great balcony and view. Also loved the fact that toiletry products were all Aveda products!

Our 5 day stay at the Pan American Oceanfront Hotel was amazing from the time we checked in until we checked out. Staff was friendly and always willing to assist. The pool was a great end of the beach day stop, too.

Apparently the pilot light went out on the hot water heater so my wife had a cold shower, but we were not notified that there was no hot water one evening

We were not satisfied with the initial room choice (reserved oceanfront, which it was, but on the first floor looking at dunes--not ocean), however, they accommodated us by moving us to a better room on the 3rd floor with no additional charge--very nice.
