Avoid the room close to the elevator or facing the nightclubs. The clubs are so loud till 2 or 3am. We have to wear ear plugs.

When I mentioned I was double charged they said they did not. It ended up costing more to stay at pali hotel then the hard rock which was a much more desirable area and price it was a mistake and they did not fix

I was double charged by booking and the hotel it was very frustrating I booked 2 rooms they thought I was charged for 1. Because there was a deal with booking they did not honor so they double charged me

My room was right on a corner, and was a little noisy overnight from an external fan/ airconn unit. Unsure if it was from the hotel or a neighbouring business. Having said that, the response from the front desk was excellent and appreciated when I mentioned it to them.

Beautifully presented and renovated. Amazing location right in the heart of the action. Nice little French Bistro connected. Roof terrace bar a hidden treat, although they could increase the range of wine up there.

I wish the price for parking was advertised better. It’s $60 every 24 hours and it was a fairly unexpected and expensive expense. 48 hours was almost as expensive as the price we paid for one night

I loved the aesthetic, bed, and shower! My boyfriend is over 6 feet and this hotel actually had a tall-person friendly shower with the best temperature settings.

No breakfast and the elevators are a little annoying when you have a lot of luggage. The rooms are small and showers too but it’s a cute hotel I would still stay again!

Free drink on the hotel. Clean and nice!

For the price of the stay, I would expect daily water, wifi and tea/coffee/milk to be included, as is offered for most hotels. Some transparency in disclosing the $25 daily fee for the above-mentioned amenities at the time of booking would be nice, not after booking.

The hotel is very well refurbished, maintaining the vintage charm and homely feel. It is also exceptionally clean.

Please keep in mind that the elevator is original to the hotel, so it is very old school and can be slow. The air conditioning is minimal but bearable. So if you’re like me, and like the cold at night. It could an adjustment.

The decoration, the ambience, the staff was amazing. The room was exceptional as well.

Room very small with no closet space. The service at the restaurant was super slow. The valet parking service was slow as well but the manager on the day of checking out made the guesture of not charging the last day of parking to compensate for the ling wait. The mattress was soft and worn. An uncomfortable sleep.

A beautiful boutique hotel with history that is best enjoyed without kids.
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Queen Room
    • Stayed 2 nights

Speaking of it being a historic property... I wouldn't recommend it for families. We traveled with my four and seven year old and it just isn't made to accomade them well. The A/C never seemed to work correctly in our room, which I think because of the hotel's age, the room ran pretty hot. It's also not a kid-friendly neighborhood, which I should have known before booking, but I didn't realize until we got there. Lastly, the $60 or so for valet was frustratingly high. I ended up at a garage down the street for $14 a night, but the inconvenience of it all was annoying.

Firstly, this is a gorgeous hotel. I didn't realize this was on the more historical side of things (more on that later), so to stay in a historic stop, in a popular neighborhood was amazing. The staff was very helpful and kind and the room was clean and the perfect size for our family of four.

It was living amongst nightclubs with no sound proofing. 10pm-3am clubbing every night. Closed windows despite lovely shades were as if they were not there. No sleep until 3am each day. Hard if you were not clubbing yourself.

The retro decor was special, staff was nice. Toiletries excellent. Very close to excellent popular Tacos shop!

The old fashion elevator took some dexterity to manage. Would be hard for a handicapped person.

The hotel says "pet friendly" and it was. Squeaky toy and organic treats for my dog really showed a thoughtful touch. Liked the retro style and the bistro. Very pleasant staff.

The room was excessively noisy at night, and although earbuds were provided, they were not conducive to a comfortable sleep; additionally, the old elevator resulted in extended wait times for accessing the room.

The style of the hotel and room was really nice, featuring an espresso machine in the room, and the staff were friendly.

The nightclub noise. It is loud. Like really loud base till the wee hours of the morning 1-2 AM! (But I DID stay in the area of nightclubs, so I suppose that is to be expected. But I didn't process that till I got there. Bring your own earplugs if you are concerned...

clean, comfortable, location, bed was made daily in the evening!! Staff was amazing. Decor is great. Looks like you have stepped into a different era
