Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesOnly had one working elevator the three nights we were there. The outlet in our restroom had a piece of broken metal that shocked us when we reached for the light switch in the dark. Noticed one of the sheets on the bed had a red stain on it :/ Paying to park at a hotel we paid to sleep in was not great at all.

United StatesThe elevator situation in the hotel was horrible! I and many others had to wait way too long to get up and down from our rooms. The elevator passed me three or four times before I was able to get on and go downstairs. If it wasn't for the elevators being an issue. Then my stay would have been a lot more enjoyable. I was sent a video from my oldest who was home showing a man saying how the OyO was not a very good choice to stay at. 4mos after this video talking about the OyO hotel, the elevators were still not working. That is a lot of stress on one elevator. Now, doesn't that sound unsafe? My hot water, when taking a shower, could have been hotter too.
It was a nice hotel,location great,staff nice. The food and drinks were really good at Hooters.

United StatesOnly one working elevator for all 19 floors. The first room was not fully cleaned. The water pressure was poor, and the hot water wasn’t hot enough. The pool was closed while it was 80 degrees outside.
Cost was cheaper than most. Casino was in good shape. Sports bar was available to all. Drinks were cheap(er than elsewhere). Plenty of food options.

The location is ideal at the end of the strip. It's quieter than the major casinos which is what I like personally having stayed here before.

United KingdomOnly 2 out of 5 elevators are working, and I get the impression that the other 3 have been out of action for a long time. The shower in the bathroom was awful, barely any water pressure. Very basic accommodation. Also, be aware that the hotel is right under the flight path of helicopters that buzz over loudly every few minutes every evening. There is no luggage room to store your cases if you have a late flight after checkout time.
The location is close to the south end of the strip, which is great. The monorail is just across the road, too. There's a little convenience store about a 5 minute walk away. The lady in the coffee shop is a total sweetheart. The beds are very comfortable. Slept well. Very speedy checkin and checkout. All staff are very polite and friendly.

United StatesWe asked the front desk for waters, they said to call housekeeping. We went upstairs and called housekeeping, no one picked up. I called guest services due to housekeeping never answered the phone, we were told they would up in a little bit with the waters but no one ever delivered us water. The elevators were very slow and only 1 working elevator per side. The floor in the bathroom wasn't clean. Someone came into our room, even though we had a DND on our door. They left the toliet up, peed in the toliet, and closed the bathroom door. We are both women, so we don't leave the toliet seat up, so we know someone was in our room.
I really liked the staff and the fact that I can eat at Hooters.

New shower inserts and formica counter tops. 2 chairs at the table that weren't from the 60's instead of 1 - new bed end tables not all scratched up. You probably could have purchased the old Tropicana room items. They remodeled not that long ago. Room parking fee was extremely excessive. No ice anywhere.
beds were unbelievably comfortable. Well done. Bartender in sports bar was wonderful. Had fun playing video poker.

United StatesCheckin. Emailed then about a late, 2am check in, and received an acknowledgment. Upon checking in was informed that the room we booked, nonsmoking, wasn’t available due to the lateness. A policy they have is after pm the rooms are up for grabs. A room will be available but not necessarily the one you booked.
