Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesTheir elevators were not working, my son and I took the stairs the whole time we were there. My cousin that stayed with us she is disabled. They put us on the seventh floor, and she invites them that she cannot go up and down the stairs because of her disability. They fought with her to get us a room on the second floor. They were very rude about the situation and said that their elevators haven’t been working for three months
The location was perfect! The pool was great once it opened they had it closed Wednesday through Friday because of the fires from California

GermanyElevator didn’t work the entire stay and we were on the 17th floor. The only option was a service elevator for the employees which repeatedly got stuck for around 10-15 minutes or a staircase filled with cockroaches.
Location was good and a short walk to the strip with a nice view but definitely expected acceptable conditions within the hotel!

United States• I stayed 4 night, nobody went to clean the room. • Bathroom was little dirty. • Guest elevator was not working, we had to use employee elevator and one day was not working, I had to walk to 16th floor, nobody from staff apologies or at list offers a bottle of water. As I said for what you paid we can not request luxury but elevator can not take more then 4 days to get fix, I work in hotel and when we have that issue takes hours to get fixed not days

United StatesThe hotel needs major maintenance and renovation, especially in the casino. The hotel only had one working elevator and the casino area needs major maintenance and renovation, it looks like it hasn't been touched since 1970. The carpet in the casino area black with filth and wear. Also, there is no way to lock your room for privacy. Given what you pay, you can get nicer hotels nearby. I canceled our return reservation and stayed elsewhere.
The location is close to the airport and had a quick service restaurant on site. The room was clean and newer looking.

United StatesThe elevators were down except one and it was so hot. The food at Steak n Shake was not good but Hooters was ok. I was told the hotel wouldn’t be charging me anything and they charged me a $300 deposit when I showed up for it to take a week for me to get back. And room service not once came to our room to clean or give us new towels.

The location was good, the room was clean and nice, but once you left the lobby to go to your room was ugly , dirty , & hot. Only one elevator was working, apparently this happens all the time. Inside it was very dirty , stuffy, if elevator were to stop working you would seriously panic because of how hot it is inside. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again. Payed way over $200 dollars
