Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaThe payment system is not good because when I booked the rooms through booking.com, the property only charged a deposit payment and asked to pay the rest on the day I arrived so that make me pay more that the price that I booked because of the exchange rate which it’s very annoying. Not really happy about the payment system they did.

The location of the property was amazing. We were able to walk everywhere. We did a lot of offsite exploring and the valet attendants were fantastic. They were very friendly and happy to bring our car to us, at all times.

GermanyLocation was great: just a few minutes walk from the beach and there's a supermarket/cafe/restaurant across the road. We were just there for a short stay and this place served us well for somewhere to rest our heads. However it is very dated (reflected in the price so it's fine) so I wouldn't book it if you're looking for anything more than that. The bathroom and beds were very well cleaned, but we didn't use the kitchenette and given the age of the place, it doesn't have a super clean feel to it in general. Lovely lady helping you book tours and giving you insider tips in the lobby.

JapanThe cheap price came, however, with a downside: the hotel is completely run down. There were very few outlets in the room, and we had to look very hard to charge our two devices while using the hair dryer. The bathroom offered basic amenities but was triangular, with a closet area right behind the door. That was a weird layout. Also, in order to get to our room, we had to use the elevator, which does not have an indicator that tells you where you are. So, when you are in the elevator with another party, you better stay attentive to know where you end up. Be aware that the night entrance is only possible with your room key, which must be touched on a device on the right wall a few yards away from the door. This is written small on the door, but when we were there, nobody seemed to notice and instead immediately went for the closed door itself. Finally, the pool position is strange behind the lobby waiting area and under the second floor verandas. I wonder who would use that thing...
The best thing about this hotel was its great location at Kūhiō Avenue in the middle of Honolulu. Our room provided a veranda with a nice view of a relatively quiet side street. So, we enjoyed the birds chirping as we got up in the morning. The lobby offered free water throughout the day and iced tea and coffee in the morning. Great! Additionally, there were snacks prepared in a box in the morning, but we missed the timing and, unfortunately, missed out on them. Overall, the staff was stellar and very patiently answered all the questions. In the morning, the lobby even offered a tour desk, where a sweet lady explained what tourists could do around Ohia and Ahu island. Finally, the place was so cheap for Honolulu at that time of year! We enjoyed our stay. Thank you :)
