Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Good location. The hotel itself is a little old, the water was nice and hot, room was clean, but it lacked a microwave. If you’re looking for a place to sleep and are out and about the rest of the day it’s a good value.

GermanyYou pay 25 usd per day for "breakfast" these are unhealthy bio-engineered sweets, cans full of sugar. Not good for the people. Hotel is old, renovations not done.
Location is very good. not far from Beach. room is ok, Hawaii is really expensive. it is in the center of all food and waikiki beach. With the bus you can go from the airport for 3 dollars cash there in 50 mins. Easy. I like the service of beach towels. Free water, tee, coffee is there. Room is fine and spacious. also the bad. 24h reception is good.

AustraliaThe smell when you enter is instant headache inducing, like a strong toilet cleaner smell, unsure why that is needed. Couldn't really access the verandah in the room as there was about a 4cm gap between the bed and the door.
Great location, rooms are small and property is outdated and old but for the money I think it is priced pretty well compared to the rest of waikiki. Staff were nice and had no issues with cleanliness. Everything was clean when we arrived. We received little day packs with drinks chips and muesli bars of a morning, which was a great added touch.

CanadaPerfect location, about 10 minutes walk away from Waikiki Beach. Room was nice and comfortable and exactly what you see online, housekeeping was brilliant they came and re made our beds and restocked/changed towels every day which was nice to come back to :) Staff were great and you also get a complimentary snack bag each morning which was nice. Really enjoyed my stay here no complaints!

United KingdomI had an upgrade! But when I got to the room, it felt more of a downgrade. It was situated in a very precarious position with a safety rail that looked as though it had had better days. The room was supposed to be non-smoking ( I do not smoke). The carpet was covered in burn marks, as was the bathroom furniture. The curtains were thread bare and I was woken up with a water dripping through the roof. Not really worth the cost. The advertised picture was photo shot so it didn't show all the buildings that surrounded it. Overall exactly what I said earlier not worth the amount of money paid.
Just around the corner from waikiki beach. I would like to mention the chamber Lady,I didn't get her name but she was a diamond. Thankyou to her.
