Gorgeous, tropical, across from beach, walking to shops and restaurants. Great rooms with kitchen, lovely staff, beautiful grounds. Oh, and the best coffee!!

Nothing everything was nice !

The beach and the center of Carlsbad is within walking distance just a 2- 5 minute walk . The convenience of all the restaurants was very nice and the property was very clean and enjoyed having a Refrigerator and stove top . The pool has a nice tropical setting, nice that fire pits around property are all turned on for convenience of guests and they offer towel and chairs to check out as well is an added bonus . You definitely get what you pay for .

Kept getting notes from cleaning staff to remove the do not disturb sign from the door. Then, when we did the room was not cleaned. Not a big deal, but why put the notes on the door?

Great location, close to beach / restaurants, easy walking distances. Friendly office staff, reasonably quiet with other guests. Gym is small but handy to have.

“Continental breakfast” was only granola bars, coffee, juice and come prepackaged muffins and donuts. 2/3 days we stayed and came for breakfast the tray was empty or nearly empty at 8am. On busy days parking can be an issue since there is only 4-5 designated parking spots for the hotel. If those are full (always are) you have to try and find public parking which can be a challenge in the area. The first night we had to pay $24 for 3hr parking across the street because there was no where to park.

The location is amazing! Rooms were very clean, staff were friendly. We enjoyed the fire pits at night and being able to borrow chairs, towels and umbrellas for the beach.

Again......the access to the beach was down a large flight of stairs (nothing to do with the resort, 2 staircases within about 100 yards of each other to gain access to the beach.) and got tiresome very quickly. LOVE THE LANDSCAPING all around the resort! Absolutely amazing.

Staff was very friendly and Helpful. location was great, right near the beach. Just had to walk up and down the stairs a lot going to the beach. ITS NOT a flat area to get to the beach. Otherwise, great location to shopping, bars, rest etc....all with in short walking distance.

I would like the check out time to be 12pm and provide additional breakfast items. Larger swimming pool.

Enjoyed my stay while I participating in my last week of meditation teacher training across the street. The hotel was quiet (except for the screaming child next door), clean and your staff was quite nice with lovely smiles all the time.

Room was a bit weathered and dated. Had to request housekeeping to make up sofa bed for grandkids after they first told me where bedding was and to do myself. Broken window in shower.

Location and grounds were great. Pool and firepits and gardens nice. Front desk staff great.

I did not like that I had to go down to check out a hair dryer and pillows. People must steal them?

I liked that it was close to the beach and had a pool/jacuzzi. I also liked that it was pet friendly.
