Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Canadainternet was basically non existent. I had to use my phone, which as a canadian, can get expensive. Also the water temperature control was not good. Turn the sink on hot and then cold and remains hot for a long time. The area of town was a bit sketchy, but that may be Baltimore in general.
Front staff was very nice. Room was nicely decorated and the drapes filter out all the sun. Very clean and comfortable room. Smoothies at the cafe downstairs are great.

United StatesParking is def wonky with the self park lot a little far away (for a disability I have in my leg right now and as far as safety is concerned at night). The 7-7 self park (no in/outs) policy is a little stringent and limiting. $49/day to park is steep even though the valet guys and the valet process were super great!
Dashery and the rooftop restaurants are great options. Location is really great btwn the Washington monument, the park, Peabody and the art museum and some great coffee shops around the area.

United Statesbreakfast options were limited, but were fine for a short stay. Really don't have any negative input.
Love the location, which is near museums and local monuments. for the downtown location, the hotel is quiet. Like the quirky art and decor. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Great coffee options in the room, with gourmet pour-over coffees. Good price for value.

United StatesThe bed was not soft enough. Also, the stairs at the entrance of the hotel make getting suitcases in a bit of a hassle.
The location and decor are amazing. I also loved that the electric kettle in the room could be programmed for a range of things from making green tea to boiling.

United StatesThe bed frame is bigger than the mattress and creates a situation where we both kept hitting our shins on the frame. Otherwise the bed was very comfortable.
The staff members were very polite and accommodating…everyone went out of their way to be friendly and helpful…Hotel Revival should be proud of their team.

Singaporenothing! It was exceptional in every way I can think of. It exceeded expectations by a long mile! If/when I ever go back to Baltimore, it will be my go to hotel, though maybe one time I'll try a hotel at the harbour with a view.
The hotel is in a prime location in Baltimore's arts district with plenty of history in every building and step, while the hotel is situated inside a historic residence, but is tastefully modern in its interior design. The rooms are spacious and the room we had featured a writing desk that was a decorative room feature in itself. The reading chair by the window was also special/comfy. This was really an exceptionally done hotel, and everyone of the staff we interacted with were excellent!

United StatesI honestly don't have any complaints but if possible I would love to see them have an array of pillow options. While the hotel kindly brought me additional pillows they did not have any firm or foam pillows which is my ideal preference.
The service was outstanding. Lorenzo went above and beyond to help us, check in with our pets. The hotel is in a lovely area and the interior is a vibe. Great spot!

United StatesValet parking could’ve been a little less expensive.
Location was perfect, close to everything you would want to visit. The hotel itself was very clean, comfortable and very upscale. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. I had breakfast at the Dashery downstairs. Choices limited but what I had was very good. Great latte! I thought the overnight valet parking was a little expensive, but maybe that’s what it goes for these days. All in all, most enjoyable experience, and I would definitely stay there again.
