Staff was friendly and accommodated a last minute reservation change. It is an older and dated hotel, but the room I had had been updated, was clean and comfortable.  the outside appearance is nothing special, but it is clean and orderly. Very good value. I would stay here again.

This place is being maintained & slowly updated. The beds are decent, and carpets cleaned.

Very nice bathroom here, with nice tile flooring too, I was happily surprised. The lady who was cleaning the rooms when I checked out was very nice. If I'm ever in the area again, this motel will be my first choice to stay at. I only really needed the bed for the night so it was a bit of overkill for my needs, but it was great.

I came at 8pm to check-in, but reception was closed. I tried to call to receptionist, but nobody was answering. And I had to look for another staying after waiting for anybody for an hour and trying to reach anyone from Motel Nicolas. But it was useless. I was really disappointed that i had to experience this. And nobody told me that this motel is not working.

I don't really want to say anything negative because we were so happy but they could update the outlets.

Herman and his wife were so incredible and beyond accommodating. They switched us to a better room at the last minute on Stampede weekend which was not expected. Even though this was the busiest weekend of the year here, we were shocked to find how peaceful the motel was and especially how clean everything was. Not at all what we expected for a hotel at this price and especially on this weekend. They had an updated handheld nice shower head that was also unexpected. There's even a beautiful grassy area in front with trees and tables just to gather at. Shockingly impressed and would always stay here when we need to come back in this area.

Very undersized air conditioner took 5 hrs to cool the room on moderate summer day. Bathroom is smallest I ever saw in hotel. V cramped square shower stall, no shelf area for even a toothbrush, the sink was 8 inches in front of toilet. And the pillows were very thick bricks, uncomfortable to sleep on

Good hotel for motorcycle travelers, park right outside each room. Vast areas to park.

Though the exterior could eventually use an update (plywood on various windows, needing a lick of paint, someone's furniture and plants outdoors at the end of one wing), that is not a real issue for the price, it's good value for money in Omak/Okanogan, and I would stay there again.

Like most reviewers, I found my little room was very nicely appointed, seemed to be recently updated, was very clean and tidy, fresh and comfortable. The short couch was really nice to relax on after a long day, the A/C was quiet, ample parking was available right outside my door, an easy to use TV, the bathroom was what all motel room offerings should be (very clean, good water pressure, great towels), and it's only a short walk to the usual fast-food culprits, but also a nicely stocked Safeway, and it's NOT right on Highway 97 with its all-night dull roar. The reception staff were helpful and confident I'd find the room to my liking. They were right.
