Motel 6 is a solid and consistent chain. They get the basic things right. I can go to any Motel 6 and be confident I will get this basic level of accommodation. This trust is the value that Motel 6 provides.

No coffee at desk and no coffee maker in the room. They need to inform their clients that there is a $100 cash deposit when reserving the room which I did not know about until my arrival.

The floor in the in the rooms are not carpet which I think all hotels need to do. And the room was decently clean but needed linen upgrades because there were burn holes in some of the bedding.

Beds... They are FIRM. Air is not great. Been worse but this could be a lot better. If your room is close to the lobby you will hear EVERYTHING. staff is very nice and a delight to talk to. The pillows are not comfortable. Bring your own pillows. thank us later.

The bath room was nice , clean and water pressure great. It has a fart fan for anyone that wonders.

when I got there I was originally placed in a dirty room. but the staff was very helpful and apologized and gave me another room which was very nice.

Excellent manager and staff. The accommodation was a bit spartan but I expected that. When you travel with a pet it is that way. You have a good location. Motel Six might want to think about upgrading the furniture and electronics. It is a bit weathered. The staff kept the place very clean and were every responsive the our needs.

Cockroaches

Nothing is gross smelly a dump! Cockroaches in room 204 Has to show a picture to the desk staff, he straight up said “no ones every complained” Asked if we wanted a different room… sir if there’s 4 out in broad daylight I shudder to think what would happen if we attempted to sleep there WE LEFT…. Promised a refund… we will see

Management is new and he's a snake looking to make as much money as possible. I booked this stay through Booking.com through the promise of not having to pay until we stay. I've done this several times with several hotels and never had an issue. The manager of this location apparently runs cards the day BEFORE arrival so if the card is declined he can book the room and not miss out. I've never had this happen before!! Our account didn't have the funds yet when he ran it, but did the day of our stay, so it was declined. Well, we arrive from out of state and they had given our room away!! Without ANY notice. We had NO IDEA. I checked and double checked all my emails and nothing. Somehow we lucked out and a long term guest left early just that morning and it was the only room available. Otherwise the closest hotel that night was 25 miles away!! So we booked it but ended up paying DOUBLE what we had booked it at through Booking.com. Such bull.

For a Motel 6, the reviews saying it is clean and renovated are correct. It's in a convenient location and when you just need a place to sleep and aren't looking for anything fancy or special, it's a good option. The front desk staff was friendly and polite considering management is garbage.

everything the cockroaches the hairy toilet shower and sink the dirty linens on the beds which have no bed spreads the black grime on the shower where it hasn't been cleaned the giant black stain on the ceiling above the shower where it has either been caught on fire or molded from water damage

We didn’t complete our stay due to a bug issue along with dirty facilities. (We left after being checked in for 1 hour.) The property is supposed to be refunding our money but I haven’t seen the refund yet.
