Almost got stuck in the bathroom with a sticky door. Room was quite small with little space between beds and minimal space for luggage. No elevator. Sharing bathroom and shower required watching and planning. Highway noise was loud.

Beds were comfortable. view was beautiful.

The shared bathroom setup was not ideal, but we knew what to expect going in. They were, however, kept very clean and there was even a stack of clean bathmats near the show and toiletries in the bedroom so you didn't feel like you had to share such things with strangers. It was a bit strange that the hallway lights were kept off in the evening, but the rooms were all equipped with flashlights so you could find your way. I know that other reviewers had complained about the water temperature and pressure in the showers, and I had the same issues. However, my husband and daughter took showers before and after me, and they had no problems whatsoever. Clearly, there's a secret to using the showers that you might learn from the owner.

If you consider that this is a 1 star (basic accommodations) hotel, it is truly outstanding for it's class. The whole place was super clean, simply but nicely furnished, and the owner was always so cheerful and helpful. Also the food available was not fancy but was still tasty and well presented. It was also a very quiet location.

Beds were small and a bit saggy. Shared restrooms and showers were very 'European', but it was worth it to be so close to nature...

Terry and her staff were super friendly and their cook made excellent breakfasts. Very quiet location and great access to Many Glacier area of Glacier NP.

Loved it all! Shared facilities were kept extremely clean!

Montana’s Duck Lake Lodge is an excellent location to stay especially if you are planning to visit Glacier National Park. The staff is exceptional, food delicious and it has a super fun “hostel” feel to it! It was nice to mingle with folks from all over the U.S. It was also a lot more personal than the Glacier Park Collection hotel and motel stays.

Be mindful the bathroom and restroom is shared by all guests so it can get busy. The other downside is slow internet speed, but they are trying to get Starlink.

Excellent location, very quiet and pretty with the lake at sunset. The food in this hotel is definitely plus. Haven’t had good breakfast or lunch in Glacier for days.

Apparently, this area does not typically need air conditioning in the summer. We unfortunately were there during 2021 June days with extreme weather. With the room facing west, it is simply hot!

Great location. I enjoyed the food there too.

This is a comfortable place and clean on the inside. The outside property is really grown up. Could not sit outside at the picnic tables due to grass knee deep. Pretty area just couldn’t enjoy relaxing outside only in the parking and driveway area.

A place to shower and sleep after hiking the east side of GNP. Nothing else.

Folks should understand that while this is a clean property, it is basic. The main drawback was that the rooms open up on a hallway that gives directly on a balcony over the lounge and cafe. Thee were not open when we were there, but if they were it would have been very noisy in the room.

    Location was perfect.

    None.

A very nice lodge in a nice natural surrounding with mountain view and not far from the Glacier National Park east gate. Our room (Chief) was great. There was a shared microwave provided. The shared bathrooms and toilets were nice. We checked in late and the self checked in worked well. We also liked the burger dinner at the cafe, it was yummy.

This Lodge is wonderful. It is clean, comfortable, cozy, with a well decorated lodge feel. The couple that own and run it are so nice and friendly, like you're staying with 'family'. The food in the Cafe is also wonderful. Breakfast omelettes were delicious. The location was close to East Glacier area - all entrances - and still so secluded with peaceful surroundings. We had the family room with private bath and patio. It was exceptional.

Great location between Many Glacier and St Mary Park entrances. Very friendly and accommodating place. Teri(sp?) the owner is so cool. She is all about your comfort! She has a ton of great information about everything around there. Her restaurant in the lodge serves up great food, too.
