To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe tv in the master wasnt working upon arrival but was fixed hours later. The jacuzzi stopped working after the 2nd day of a 4 day stay. Housekeeping is not a daily feature when you book with a owner rather than the resort itself. The access to other towers were not permitted with the cards we were provided which i understand just wasnt a fan of that due to us being with a party of 6.
I like the property itself. My room was very spacious. The appliances all worked properly. The lighting in the unit was nice. The unit was clean and I loved all the big mirrors throughout.

Location good, no breakfast (N/A), room was clean and spacious. Balcony view was awesome. Water pressure good, everything worked. Was a little pricey, but other options were similar cost for less spacious room, so it is what it is.
