The location is breath taking. I had no idea when I booked it what a peaceful beauty property it was. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The shower and toilet are not in the cabin. However, the facilities are close and very clean. It was not an issue for us at all. It is just something you should know.

The cabins are brand new and wonderfully decorated. The view is over the lake on some of them and it is very peaceful. Breakfast is brought to you in the morning and is was fresh. The sauna is at the lake and in our case right in front of the door of the cabin. Radiant heat was great as well.

Peaceful and quiet. The rooms were very comfortable and well designed. Loved the sauna and dipping in the semifrozen lake.

The mattress on the bed was not comfortable. Room was quite hot until the sun went down. The fan was not over the bed so not helpful in cooling as we slept.

The breakfast was okay for a little drop and go. The location was absolutely amazing!!! The check-in coordinator was so friendly and helpful! We would definitely like to come again!

Beautiful location and we really enjoyed kayaking and swimming on the lake. Friendly staff and the room was clean and comfortable and felt very Scandinavian. The separate bathroom facilities were also brilliant. We loved our stay.

Sound insulation is not good. Since the structure here is that two rooms share the same cabin, I could hear almost every sentence my neighbors are talking if using normal voice. I suppose so do they. I could also hear the laughter when people are talking next to lake. Luckily they stopped talking after 10:30pm so we had a sound sleep after that. Maybe such sound insulation is expected for a glamp experience though

1. The host was super nice. We arrived later than 9pm but after calling the host, she waited for us and also provided me with the tea kettle in the room per request. She made me feel welcomed and like home 2. Nice view. Everything here is peaceful. I enjoyed watching ducks swimming in the lake early morning 3. Nice breakfast 4. Toilet and shower place, although far away are super clean and comfortable

Very clean and quite. Nature and fresh air abounds with the 160 acre facility. Wonderful accommodations with a nice touch of summer camp feel but this is not your summer camp venue.

I thought everything was great.. some people might not like that the bathhouse is away from your lodging. Each side of bathhouse Mens/ Women’s- has 5 independent bath rooms complete with toilet/sink/shower that are beautifully done and maintained. It does NOT feel like an outhouse experience. I did not have an issue with this at all and if you do… you need to put your phone down, and go outside and smell the fresh air. 😃

Found on Bookings.com while visiting my Dad- we were just looking for a place to lay our heads for a few days. What a happy little accident this was! We Loved this site so much we stayed for two additional days! This is a beautiful “Glamp-tel” experience. Everything very unique and pristine. Rooms are beautifully simple (no tv’s), clean, perfect for a getaway lodge experience to enjoy outside and the person you are with! I couldn’t have picked a better spot to relax & take in nature and the area. We were able to go lake kayaking, sooth our muscles in the sauna (by the lake) & try my hand at disk golf (btw- I won. Haha). The staff was amazing and accommodated us with our nightly fire pit and coffee requests. This was the best accidental experience my husband and I have ever taken. We will hands down be back again. See you next time.

No toilet facilities in the cabin. One has to walk to the bathhouse to do all ablutions. Who wants to walk across a muddy carpark, through the cold and rain at night, after getting out of a warm, comfy bed to have a wee during the night? There isn’t even an umbrella to keep your head and torso dry while you dodge mud puddles and raindrops in the middle of the night to get to the lavatory. I suggest they get composting toilets for the cabins because while I can see why they didn’t want plumbing pipes all over the site, they really need to consider the weather they have and the path they expect guests to travel to get from cabin to lavatory. I know it is a revamped camp site but they aren’t charging campsite prices nor are guests expecting a campsite experience. Other than this, it is beautiful. I’ve harped on about the toilets because I have always been someone who gets up once or twice a night to use the lavatory (I am betting I am not alone) and have never had to get muddy and rained on to use the loo before.

Beautiful setting, newly built, clean, lovely breakfast, they have a sauna with a gorgeous view. The bathhouse is beautifully appointed with a bathroom dedicated to each cabin.

Proprty was advertised as “deluxe double with balcony” but had no bathroom… not even a sink, and no balcony. the bathroom was across a gravel parking lot…. not even “down the hall”. For the same price as a fully outfitted King Cabin in Talkeetna. if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, do not stay here!

They should FULLY disclose these are Dry Cabins!! There is no plumbing at all in the cabins and you need to use community bathrooms to shower and go to the restroom. There isn't a sink or faucet or even a mini-refrigerator so you need to be well aware of this when you come. It is also 15 minutes to a town.
