Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesIf I recall correctly, there was no coffee pot in the room, which was a disappointment. There was not much for breakfast.
There were a lot of restaurants nearby, and it was close to the Cornell Botanic Gardens.

United StatesThe water temperature on the shower was iffy. It would be the perfect temperature for a few minutes and then immediately turn scalding hot. When it was barely lowered the water temperature would turn freezing cold. The rooms are also extremely outdated. I also did not like there was only 1 lock on the door.
I liked the convenience the property was to where we were going in town. The location was quiet and comfortable. I traveled alone with 3 young kids and felt safe both nights.

United StatesWiFi was not great and invariably used phone for my internet. Could be due to the room location, but in any case I could not depend on it for my calls or work. Sink in the bathroom lacked a filter. You have to be careful with things on the sink. Luckily I dont usually leave anything on the sink top.
Rooms were ok, but didnt expect a lot for the pricing. For some reason Ithaca is always expensive when it comes to hotels. Think I can get much better hotels in Horsehead for better price than this. I preferred this due to the location over the frequent ~1 hr drives elsewhere. Place is so close to wegmans and you can walk to it if you like.

United StatesWe booked for three adults, and only one set of towels was left plus no toilet tissue. I called desk to report and was told to come down as there was no staff to bring us the items. The wastebaskets in the room still had garbage in them. The second bed had only a bed spread on it. Didn’t discover the lack of bedding until we returned from our night out at1:30 am to climb in bed.

United StatesWe were told the room was recently renovated but the condition of the carpet and wallpaper would indicate otherwise. There was large chunks of dry paint all over the floor in the bathroom.
The room was cheap and close to the activities and stores we planned to go to. The room was on the end of the motel so there were less neighbors. They offered a breakfast but we did not check it out.

United StatesThe breakfast was disappointing. The coffee was terrible and weak. There was spilled food on the floor near the open stairwell and it was laying there for at least 12 hours. The hallway decorations were dusty with cobwebs.
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The location was great and there was plenty of parking. There were plenty of towels and toiletries available and the staff was accommodating when I requested a bar of soap.

United StatesThere was hair all over the bathroom on check in. staff never cleaned the restroom when cleaning the room during our stay. I made sure there was no personal belongings left in the tub area and still was not wiped down. the sink was still covered in hair and there was no reason to not clean it. they took the garbage bag in the bathroom and never replaced the bag in the garbage cans. there could be another garbage in the bedroom area for convenience.
Location was convenient. bedroom area was clean, Staff in the office was very helpful the morning of check-out when I rebooked the room to stay for 2 more nights.

United StatesThe beds were not all that comfortable to me, my back did not like them. The room was cleanish. There were stains on the carpet and the wallpaper was peeling in a location or two. Lighting in the room was very dark as well. There was food or barf on a small section of one of the comforters, didn't bother asking them to change it. I just didn't use it
The staff was super friendly and accommodating. My flight was so late that I couldn't even stay there the first night. I called the property twice, both time very late and someone picked up and was very helpful and friendly.
