The only thing bad was the bathroom sink had a huge crack in it. It looked dirty at first glance but wasn’t really.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. It was clean and the bed was comfy.

No communal areas inside or outside to meet and relax, other than part of the restaurant.

Comfortable beds, excellent shower, plenty of towels. No shaving point in bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities could be improved.

There was nothing that significantly impacted my stay, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the hotel's amenities and services. If I were to suggest something, it would be to continue maintaining the high standards they have already set!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. My room was immaculately clean and comfortable, with a bed that was a joy to sleep in. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and historical sites just a stone's throw away. And the cherry on top was the lovely balcony, which added a delightful touch to my stay.

As I mentioned above, the location is a bit far from the touristy stuff - it took us about 40 minutes or so to walk (we aren't particularly fast walkers, though). In terms of the room, the only minor annoyance I experienced was the down pillows and comforter as I am allergic. I checked the pillows upon arrival; one was down and one was not, so that was no big deal. The comforter did not feel like down, so I slept with it. Unfortunately, when I woke up the next day not feeling great, I checked to find out it was, in fact, down. That's definitely partly on me for not checking, but I wish it had been more obvious or explicit, or that there would have been a blanket alternative in our room (I did not see one). I really wish hotels would consider not using down anymore. This is quite particular to me, but please check your bedding before sleeping if you are allergic to down. Other than that, everything was fantastic!

The staff at the location are wonderful and very helpful. My mom and I stayed with my two dogs and everyone was so excited to see them in the lobby whenever we would walk in or out! The rooms themselves are really nice and big, and the bathroom is as well. We enjoyed sitting out on our balcony in the morning while we were eating breakfast and getting ready for the day. The location - while far from DC's main tourist attractions - is in a charming residential neighborhood. My mom and I loved walking around and seeing the old houses! I would definitely stay here again during any future DC trips.

I have never been in a hotel room that did not have a dresser for clothes. I know we were in one of the smaller King rooms, but for the price, a dresser would have been nice. Nice bathroom with toiletries and blow dryer, but no privacy even with pocket door shut. The water in the shower was extremely hot, only twice could it be regulated to a somewhat comfortable temperature. We drove there and there was nothing in the hotel description to let us know how or where to park. Did not realize it was all valet and that there were different prices. Tried calling the hotel when we got there regarding parking but no one was able to help at reservations and that was the only number we were directed to. Finally were able to get a spot in front after driving around the block. That was very frustrating.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The gentleman in Firefly in the mornings was very nice and extremely helpful, showing us how to use Empower to get around town without driving or having to walk long distances. Like the hot pot in the room. Nice size TV, comfortable bed. Food in Firefly was very good.

The check in lobby is far too cramped and underwhelming and creates a bad first impression. Also the person in front and ourselves had to wait whilst the receptionist, not her fault, checked with her manager as they had no record of our bookings. We finally got into our room to find they had charged us again for our three night stay when we had paid in full! several weeks before. This created a bad feeling throughout our stay. Also as others have commented the water pressure really is pathetic. You could start to run a sink, do the whole of the fantastic Washington Mall, come back to your room and you may have enough water for a shave. Also whilst the restaurant on site has reasonable quality food the prices really are very high and not reflective of the venue, it is not fine dining just bar grub.

It was a lovely large spacious room with a nice balcony in a great location. We absolutely loved Washington.

The water pressure was a bit low at the sink but that’s it. I also wish the happy hour for the free glass of wine was a little longer than a half hour. Our stay was amazing.

The room was huge and super comfortable and had a nice balcony. Loved the tea/coffee options and the robes were a nice touch. Each floor has a still/sparkling water dispenser that we used regularly. The onsite restaurant was amazing. Our server MJ was so funny and nice and the food and drinks were great. Loved the location and how close it was to the metro and things like CVS in case we needed something. The area felt very safe and it was really easy to commute around the city.
