United StatesThe bathrooms and rugs need a little updating but otherwise loved everything!
We adore this property and their staff and stay here several times a year on our road trips down from NJ to Florida. Lorraine, at the front desk went out of her way to help accommodate us when our plans changed last minute and we needed to change our date of stay. She is truly a sweetheart and welcomed us so warmly. I overheard her assisting another guest who had special needs and she was so courteous and patient. The rooms are cozy, clean and so comfortable! Especially the bed it felt like sleeping on a cloud! The property is nicely maintained with a lovely view of the courtyard and pool right from the lobby. The lobby plays 50s music overhead while you wait to check in. There is a Dennys right inside and we received free breakfast for 2! There is just something special about this place and so convenient to travelers coming off I-95. I heard they will be renovating the property soon and I hope they don't change the old world charm, the beautiful layout or the courtyard area. It's just lovely and one of our main reasons for coming back again! Thank you!

We have stayed at this Holiday Inn on our way from NJ to Florida many times. There is so much we love about it from the clean and comfy rooms to the pool area, to the beautiful grand entrance and its located right off the highway close to many restaurants and shops. The staff is always amazing, and there is a Denny's restaurant right on property open 24/7. We always feel safe and welcome here. It's our NC road stop away from home. Thanks to the Holiday Inn hotel in Lumberton for always making this a great stay. Highly recommended 😊

United StatesI was very disappointed that there was no lounge/restaurant on premise. Yes there is a 24hour breakfast lunch place, just not what we wanted after a long day traveling. Will probably not stay there again because of that, especially since there are so many other options around us.

United StatesRooms need updating. Wasn't bright and cheerful. The personnel were very nice, but not cheerful. After a 12-hour drive, they didn't brighten my spirits, as I would expect from Holiday Inn and in the South.
Breakfast with vouchers for Denny's was outstanding. Excellent food and service. That is a plus for advertising your property. It is a plus.

United StatesBooking.com sent a confirmation and stated the rate for the room with tax was $146.84. According to Holiday Inn records Bookin.com stated a rate of $139.95 plus tax equaling $158.15. However Holiday Inn charged me $146.84 on July 24 when I checked in and $11.31 when I checked out. Holiday Inn stated on July 26, 2023 that there is nothing they can do since the "error" is with Booking.com
We had 4 adults and were only allowed a breakfast for 2 adults. That should have been explained.
