Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesAsked assistance for housekeeper to come in just 1 day and get up towels, empty trash, make beds since we where there 4 days 3 nights. Room was never touched. Last night, we needed clean linen all they had was towels available. You couldn’t call the front desk because the phone was not working. What if there was and emergency and we needed assistance? There needs to be better measures in places and a manager on site.

United StatesA lot of sketchy people walking through the parking lot. Some homeless people hanging out. I feel the shower could have been a tad cleaner(rust came off the doors when I slid them), but maybe that’s just me. The halls were noisy (from people), yet I was told at check in that “if our dogs make noise we can’t leave them alone anymore”. I’ve stayed at a lot of LaQuinta’s and have never been told this. Thankfully, ours are quiet, but it’s a pet friendly hotel. There are enough who don’t welcome pets- why can’t we just have a hotel that it shouldn’t matter at? LaQuinta is the cleanest chain of pet friendly hotels, and I don’t want to see them get away from accepting pets just because a dog barks???
It was overall pretty clean… also easily assessable from the highway. I liked that there was a good bit of parking, and that security stayed in the parking lot all night. There was a nice area for our two dogs to relief themselves. It was close to the beach too, only about a block or two away. I would stay here again.

United StatesRoom could have been cleaner. A little dusty. The hotel lets you bring your pet. It smelled like a dog had been there. The girl at the front desk when we arrived ( Lindsey ) got us some spray that took care of the issue. She was very nice!
Room was good size. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Pretty quiet. The hotel itself was quiet. Breakfast was good. Right down the road from the beach was great.
