Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThey didn't give me the room I reserved. I reserved 2 bed, ADA accommodations. When I arrived, they told me the ADA room they had was being repaired. They gave me a room with a king bed. The accessible ramps were cracked and crumbling. I understand this was an older La Quinta, but they could have done better communicating and doing upkeep on ramps and ADA additions.
The location was close to the event I was attending.

United States1. It was night when I arrived. It was almost impossible to see the room numbers from the car. I drove around the building 3 times trying to find my room location. 2. The tub had a major leak. Water leaked from between the tub and the floor while I was taking a bath. I mean gallons of water. A huge mess. 3. Remote batteries were dead so no TV. I was too tired to walk back to the desk (approx 100 yards) to get new batteries. 4. Saw a couple of baby roaches. 5. Debris left from other guests noted behind dresser theTV was sitting on. Used napkins, salt and pepper packages etc. 6. Door frame was broken and nailed back together. No nail putty or paint used. It did not instill a feeling of safety to me. 7. The motel was poorly lit. I noticed it walking to my truck for a forgotten item. I was a female walking alone. I would've felt safer if the area had been brighter for safety. 8. I booked a king room online. That was not available when I got to the motel. The price was the same for 2 double beds. I was tired and it didn't matter to me.
It was close to the person I was visiting. Wonderfully hot water. Loved the Dove soap and Shampoo. The bathroom towels were large. The room keys worked properly. The staff was friendly.
