Constant construction, 24/7 chemical smell from the construction, our room wasn’t the right one that we booked and it didn’t ever get fixed. Fridge went out and ruined all of my food that I bought the day we got there. All around not a good experience. Online was told the pool would be available as well.

From the start, the staff was not very friendly. The walls at this hotel are falling apart. The elevators are scary and it feels like they are going to fall apart. The couch in the room we stayed at was disgusting, my daughter pull the cousins off to pull out the bed and there were some kind of bloody spots or who knows what that was. The entire couch was discolored and full of spots. The bathroom door didn't lock. When we came back to our room after shopping, the keys to the door wound not work. A cleaning lady opened the door for us, which I think was strange because we could have been someone else trying to get in the room. Eventually we got a new set of keys. We are not going back to this hotel. They need to change the furniture in that room, who knows what happened in that couch.

The hotel had no water for the majority of our stay. We did have a few hours with water but very little pressure which made it hard to bathe.

We were never told that the elevator was not working, we were put on the first floor next to the stairs, unable to change rooms, constant stomping all night long. Our door needed to be lifted to close and locked. This room felt extremely unsafe. Extremely disappointed since we only stayed at la Quintas throughout our move across country. Do better.

Every room on the third floor. The vents in the bathrooms made noise. It was ridiculous. We even swapped rooms twice.

Rude staff. Charged $44 for 'unexplained "Incidentals!" Denied, repeatedly, printed receipt upon my request as I wanted to comprehend "Incidental Expenses" & required a recfor my charges. NOTE: I USED NO INCIDENTAL EXPENSES ON THIS STAY. ONLY ROOM CHARGES. Had to insist to see Manager, who I was told, repeatedly, was not in. Mgr eventually appeared & printed receipt -all while reluctantly-. While in lobby observing TV at breakfast, staff wanted to turn off TV. Asked, as i sat watching TV, if I was finished watching TV. Disappointed I replied that I was indeed watching breakfast lobby TV

Didn't get a handicap room, trying to fix it was a confederacy of very pleasant dunces. Lying was exceptional in it's sincerity to the point of absolute kafka-esque ridiculousness. If you only have one accessible room in the building. . Don't even offer them. Screwing up is fine it happens not fixing it is a deal breaker. Breakfast was just close enough to being good that it was a larger disappointment than it probably merits. There's no excuse in Texas for having inedible biscuits. Buy actual jelly, Even if you have to increase the room prices by $2. Maybe I just got unlucky because it was the holidays and the person that normally handles breakfast is competent and was off seeing their family. Take of this what you will but the maids brought better food from home for their lunch then you serve for breakfast. Think about that for a minute how much did that property cost how much do you pay to run it. The eggs were good that's way harder than biscuits and decorum eliminates any discussion of whatever that was you labeled gravy. Now let's take a moment to talk about the little buggies for moving luggage. Those are the absolute worst I have ever seen or used in any hotel I've ever stayed in in my life. I don't know how much they cost but I would strongly suggest going to Costco and getting anything else. Anything put a blindfold on and just bump into shot until one of the Costco employees helps you get what you need. You could also go to Home Despot if Costco is too far away. I hope somebody's brother-in-law is getting fat selling you these pieces of dog poop because there's no other excuse for it. I haven't stayed at every hotel in Denton but a whole lot of them over the years and the price to value ratio with this property is the absolute worst in the city.

People were very nice especially when they were lying their asses off. The cleaning staff was the highlight of the visit they were honking adorable just fantastic.

Hard to get to the location. TV wasn't working correctly. Had to unplug the internet, I think, and plug back in. Apps were spotty and lagging. Could not enjoy watching a movie. Next morning couldn't pull up anything. Glad I could sleep in the middle of the bed, it would not have been comfortable otherwise. The bed creaked every time I moved. Fire protocol not comforting! The fire alarm woke us up at about 5am from a guest pulling it, is what we finally were told. We went to the lobby after calling the front desk after the fire alarmed was pulled and employees didn't check the floors (some random guest said he walked his floor). The front desk didn't allow fire department to check the floors, felt uncertain about what actually happened. The front desk turned the fire department away. The whole situation made me uncertain about going back to sleep. Clientele is sketchy. While in the lobby, awaiting info about the fire alarm, met a woman with a black eye, high on drugs and paranoid she was being followed. She pointing out "suspicious" men. After her delusions, she grabbed a donut and walked out the door, not sure if she was staying there, yet was there none the less.

Hot tub was nice and a late check our time is a plus!

The elevator in order to get down stairs you had to use a walkie talkie to call for them to send the elevator up it was a real challenge
